This should’ve ended years ago. When you have college admissions boards literally being told they can only accept a certain number of white males and the rest have to be either POCs or females then it’s doing nothin but keeping the actual qualified people from being admitted. They relax the standards so they can accommodate these students. Prime example: took me YEARS to get into PA school. When I finally got in, out of a total of 90+ students we had a total of 8 males with only 3 of us being white. On top of that, I found out majority of the females had lower test scores, lower GPA, worse medical experience (they were literal medical scribes so all they did was type what the doctor said), worse letters of recommendation, worse interviews, etc. Yet they still manage to get just fine while it took me forever. Why? All because I’m a white male. THAT is injustice and THAT is blatantly wrong. Instead of admitting the people most qualified for the job, they’re stuck admitting only a certain amount of qualified people and having to relax the standards for the others. Cause a few girls got in with test scores at either the bare minimum or a few points from it. I’ve said this countless time and I’ll keep saying it. Admitting based on race & gender IS discrimination and I’m glad they’ve ended it

     - 1590 SAT

     - class rank - 3

     - over a 4.0 gpa.  The lowest grade he got in high school was an “A”

     - All-state Track and Cross Country.  Wasn’t recruited by Yale, but could have ran for them

     - Professional artist.  One of his paintings sold for $20,000

     - Lots and lots of clubs, including the Diversity Club.  (That was my only knock on the kid - he was ultra-Liberal just like his Dad.  Oh the irony…)

My next door neighbors kid who I have known since he was 7 years old,  just a great kid,  graduated third in his class from a 4A High school.  Had a 4 point something GPA, killed it on the S.A.T  Rejected from his dream school, University of North Carolina, a public school. 

Kid did everything he was supposed to do but couldn't control his skin color. 

This ruling is 20 years too late.

The recall of the SF school board should have been a huge relentless neon sign to Team Blue, the DNC and Democrats all down the ticket that Asian American voters and parents were rolling out in force. 

Elderly Asian grandparents literally mobilized, on foot, slowly, inch by inch, to get the signatures needed. In effect, if the radical left had been more amenable to the concerns of Asian Americans, instead of the typical patently open racism against them, as per usual, then none of this would have happened. The attacks on Asian Americans by bailed out or no bailed black career criminals was the final nail in the coffin. 

Team Blue simply did not realize they kept kicking a slumbering giant. You don't mess with Asian parents and their children's education. That's a clear no go zone. Also inflation and the "Biden Economy" has been punitive to working class minorities.  Many Asians are socially liberal if they've been college educated and raised here in America, but they are also trend towards being financially conservative. And finally, the Asian culture is one that holds a grudge. Forever. So this means a staggering loss of "legacy votes" for Team Blue. 

Bizarrely, the radical activist left, who push nothing but identity politics and "inclusion", were so systemically racist against Asians, that they self inflicted this current "loss" to their overall agenda. Big Education is the DNC's feeder system. Now it's going to be infused with more young Asians who recognize now that Team Blue generally despises them for their academic success. And wants to tax them out of oblivion when they graduate. 

This isn't "equity"  It's shifting racism into a different direction. No one is going to respect that. OK, let's clarify, no one other than low information voters and pure zealots are going to tolerate that.

The Supreme Court made an exception in its ruling. The majority will still allow military schools to use race as a factor in admissions. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson called it out in her dissent:
