It’s been nearly 2 months since I started this thread. If anything the situation has gotten worse. Somebody needs to tell Joe: “Hey it’s totally unfair but the public doesn’t like you, they blame you for everything and if you insist on running there’s a good chance Trump can win again. You are not the only one who can beat him. You need to step aside for the good of the country.” 
 

Maybe Jill will do it. Somebody needs to. Time is running out….

Yeah, I agree. I don't see any chance in hell Trump wins. I think team blue would turn out in droves and trounce him. Biden is a terrible choice though as well. Both of them were horrific choices three years ago.  It will be terribly disappointing if it's these two again. I don't hold out a lot of hope for this next cycle but hopefully a moderate can emerge that connects to the largest pulse of ALL of us.

"I’m not sure what happened to the old Biden thread but I think the current President is worth discussing. And right now the news is pretty positive. Inflation seems to be slowing down; perhaps the worst is over. Certainly the Dow Jones seems to think so; it’s on its best trend all year. Unemployment is almost non-existent, gas prices are rapidly falling. Biden does not deserve the bulk of credit for these things (all Presidents get too much blame and credit for the state of the economy.) But it won’t hurt him.

Where Biden deserves credit is his legislative accomplishments, as significant as any President in recent history: the Chips act, the infrastructure bill, the climate change and healthcare package- any one of these by itself is a huge victory. Where Biden deserves credit is his continued leadership of the free world. Finland and Sweden are now part of NATO thanks largely to Biden’s efforts- he personally got Turkey to remove their reservations. Quite a feat for a guy who is supposed to be senile. And a major defeat for Putin.

I’ve written in the past that Biden has been slightly above average, actually mediocre. There’s a lot he has done that I am quite critical about. But overall I’m going to have to readjust my grade- at this point he’s doing a great job."

Understood because if you take everything and turn it around, inside out, and upside down, that's why I want Joe to run again. Unfortunately, the GOP is going to nominate the only person with a chance to lose to him. That's not a criticism of Trump, just the public's perception of him. I'd love to see Trump pull a Grover Cleveland, but the stakes are too high to risk what should be an easy win.

Tim is here to save the Geek Club. Just like he saved the "other place" ( By essentially forcing it to lock down and remove all political discussion and 95 percent of all practical current events discussion, after carpeting bombing it for nearly two decades, with multiple aliases, attacking everyone and hijacking threads with a quarter of a million posts. )

Tim needs to be the center of attention, even if it means defending the indefensible and be willing to let this place burn to the ground. Hopefully the site owner here and the rest of the FFT Staff figure this out and permanently ban him before his parasitic ways end up forcing this place to crash and burn like "the other place"  

I pointed this out to @BunnysBastatrds months ago. And I'm saying it here now. Would any of you want  Tim as a neighbor? As a coworker? As a boss? Would you want him as a teacher in a school where your kids go to everyday? Would you want him as a police officer responding to you when you need help? As a doctor if your kids need medical care? As an elected official in your town or city?  Would you even want him working in a restaurant local to you and touching your food? 

Tim is here because he needs a new "host" to feed upon. It's what parasites do. But he's here to "save" all of you.
