oh but if you say governments are trying to get you to eat bugs, that is a racist right wing conspiracy theory.

No one is making you eat bugs as some part of a new world order or whatever.

Is eating bugs for their protein more sustainable than everyone on the planet eating rib eye…sure.

It’s not some conspiracy or complicated issue.

Not yet. Trying to blindly destroy agriculture with egregious farm policies regarding nitrogen in the soil brings about the same result via food inflation for beef, chicken, pork, turkey etc...it'll be the left's solution to a left created problem.

CA is trying to eliminate the existence of beef and pork in the state entirely.  Their regs on beef and pork production are having a huge impact on in-state and out-of-state producers.  But, hey, they just want hog farms to be nice to the pigs before slaughtering them.

We are headed back towards serfdom, that is the systematic plan they are executing.  Our inalienable rights of our Declaration as enumerated in our Constitution has been mortally wounded.  Privacy, speech, self-defense, equal protection, state rights, are on life support.  The federal government has become so heavily armed, any belief that our 2nd Amendment is going to protect us is delusional.   The right of the government to coin money to benefit the people has been ceded away to where private interest reign king.

It is only complicated because the feds know how to manipulate the population.  It is really very simple.  Rationalize the stripping away of all the rights which empower and benefit people, and put the power in the interest of corporate-government control.

This country was founded on the concept that the people were kings over government.  Now government is on that pedestal and the people are mere servants.  In the name of sustainability, future generations will be eating bugs and it will not be a choice.  This is not a theory, it is the path we absolutely are headed down if one opens one's eyes.

I do not need a reason to not trust NPR. They are a media arm of the DNC. The same as fox is the media arm of the RNC except Fox accepts their role. NPR really likes to push the narrative they are actual journalists and not entertainment for democrats.

I caught a piece the other day while scanning where they brought a republican on to talk about AI. The dude seemed pretty smart. Was willing to admit there were problems with the Republican party....and the host was dismissive as hell to him.

the #1 way to control the masses is to starve them.

Actually it’s the #1 to accomplish revolution.

I didn’t think you could get any crazier but you continue to outdo yourself.

There are so many fish out there that go un harvested just bc of customer ignorance and unsophisticated tastes. I mean, just think about it. How many fish can you name that  are offered in restaurants?

Exactly.

I know the Philippines is trying to market a particular type of fish that reproduces like weeds and is on the same lines as any quality whitefish.

Hey, it worked for the Patagonian Toothfish.

There's a hell of a lot of fish and mollusks that I'll eat long before I crunch into a grasshopper.

The whole idea is stupid.  Even if these people are actual serious about it, they aren't going to convince anyone.

They need to move on to more important issues.

Better get used to it. The government and deep state are going to force you to eat a cricket burger.
