I saw him again years later at a wedding for my best friend’s sisters wedding, right after he won the house seat in our district. Had a drink with him Talked politics for a bit and what it’s like in DC. Very smart and good guy. He’d be the first Speaker of the House from Louisiana. I can see him running for president. I think if we behaved a little better this thing would be less likely to have arisen at all. Until oil started increasing in value Putin was unable to pursue this.
