Multiple New Jersey Democrats have been charged with election fraud crimes involving mail in ballots.

Paterson City Council President Alex Mendez was indicted for alleged crimes committed during the 2020 election. 

Mendez allegedly supervised an operation that stole mail in ballots from mailboxes and replaced the ones that were not for him.

His wife and two others were also charged.

New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin says Mendez was seen emptying a “large, heavy bag, completely filled with ballots” into a mailbox.

“The defendants are accused of attempting to rig an election in their favor and to deprive the voters of Paterson of having their voices heard,” Platkin said.

This is an ongoing concern but since the 2022 election came and went with election observers not being harassed and with exponentially fewer allegations of fraud, maybe seeing a presidential election conducted like that will allow things to settle.

“The volume of ballots so mishandled is such that it calls the result of the primary election into serious doubt and leaves the court unable to determine the legitimate result of the primary,” Judge Clark wrote in his ruling, adding that the videos “are shocking to the court and should be shocking to all the parties.”

Any grandmas that were just recently arrested in the past couple months?  And even when they were looking, I don't think they were trying to find every grandma, doing a quick search one of the most recent news article is about the wife of an Oath Keeper that (the husband) was just sentenced to 12 years.

You're not wrong, but this is a recent, Trump-inspired case of idiocy. Before Trump, the mantra was always "Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line" and the old Roy Rogers (?) gem "I don't belong to an organized party, I'm a Democrat" line (paraphrased).

I would say the Democrats are very bit as dysfunctional as they always have been, maybe even moreso, it's just that the Republican Party is so far off the reservation they now make the dems look like professionals doing their jobs well. That is some serious ineptitude.
