 None of these bowl games besides the Final Four mean anything and tell us nothing.  The Portal made sure of that.  Not to mention most first or second round possible draft picks all sit out.

I used to love the bowl games, loved everything about them, I’m not a fan of a playoff system, because it’s always going to need to be changed. 

But not the majority of bowl games are so watered down like we saw with Fla st,  it’s shameful to see a team that’s undefeated walk away before the game.

Quitters to be sure.  In part I get it, they are looking past the NFL prep league and into their future to make money.   If I were a GM I would absolutely take into account their inclination to give up on the team......quitters usually don't improve their behaviors

Lomas Brown says he loved playing the game and would do it for free. What they paid him for is the training, the rigid diet, the film room, the rehab, the limping around the living room each Monday and such.  That’s the attitude I would want in a player.

I surmise the beat down would have been equally as bad if the NCAA were to instead drop them into one of the games we watched yesterday.....and we the fans would then have been robbed of an outstanding football game. 

I am so happy they did not put that team into either the Sugar or Cotton games, good lord it would have been an awful game.....and the FSU fans are apparently now crying about the score being run up on them?

Good guys/ bad guys. I love Bill Laimbeer and Bob Probert. I also loved Ndamukong Suh when he was with the Lions, and Chris Chelios when he was with the Red Wings. I rooted for Titus Young for crying out loud.

Feel free to fill up the NY Giants with more quitters though.
