University presidents won’t condemn antisemitism

Yep.  I saw that headline and skipped reading the article. But the left has some pretty big ballz even mentioning "cancel culture" as bad.   That's seriously the pot calling the kettle black man.

I read this maneuver as implicit acknowledgement that they know very well their own behaviors are bad, but do them anyway.....

she never would have been hired in to that position other than the DEI movement

This shite is real ugly my friend.  It's assumptions like this that make the right look so bad.

A black woman in power, must be a DEI hire.  So sad.  So incredibly sad for you.

The plagiarism allegations came not from her academic peers but her political foes, led by conservatives who sought to oust Gay and put her career under intense scrutiny in hopes of finding a fatal flaw. Her detractors charged that Gay — who has a Ph.D. in government, was a professor at Harvard and Stanford and headed Harvard’s largest division before being promoted — got the top job in large part because she is a Black woman.

Christopher Rufo, a conservative activist who helped orchestrate the effort, celebrated her departure as a win in his campaign against elite institutions of higher education. On X, formerly Twitter, he wrote “SCALPED,” as if Gay was a trophy of violence, invoking a gruesome practice taken up by white colonists who sought to eradicate Native Americans.

“Tomorrow, we get back to the fight,” he said on X, describing a “playbook” against institutions deemed too liberal by conservatives. His latest target: efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in education and business.

“We must not stop until we have abolished DEI ideology from every institution in America,” he said. In another post, he announced a new “plagiarism hunting fund,” vowing to “expose the rot in the Ivy League and restore truth, rather than racialist ideology, as the highest principle in academic life.”

No.  It's fact.  She is woefully unqualified to be President of Harvard, regardless of all the issues that have come up.  Why do you switch accounts so much Rusty?  Do you use pimpledoosh when you're just regular trolling and Ron Artest when you want to be particularly distasteful?  What is the criteria?

It's not a fact, it's your bias.  Her resume qualifies, but you see her skin color and say she's not qualified.  Really ugly.  Sad.

It’s always baffling to me how the leftists instinctively view everything through the lens of race, and call the ones who dont, the racists.  They cant help themselves, so I guess the virtue signaling comes from internally struggling with how racist they really are.  Sad.

It's the MAGAturds that are celebrating this resignation as a win against DEI, GTFO. 🤣🤣🤣

I think her statement about "upholding scholarly rigor" is focking hilarious in light of the b1tch being caught plagiarizing dozens of times.

Perfect example.  Your whole tantrum here is based on your inability to believe that someone doesn’t look at this based on race.  You assume that everyone must, based on it being at the forefront of your own mind. So, you can’t fathom someone glad that she’s gone based on her being an idiot, it must be because she’s black.    If people are knocking DEI, it’s to make fun of the impending shat show that occurs when leftists act on their faux virtue. Keep slinging the poo, though.  It’s mildly entertaining.

It’s so sad and pathetic. Rusty is a child. Even those diks at the sanctuary can’t stand him, I’m told.

Completely agree.   Almost as sad as people lowering themselves into repugnant actions under the guise of morality.

Which is why I actively discourage the behavior to become that which we should oppose, no matter how good it might feel to do it back.....to teach some lesson.....we have to stay above the filth found within modern liberalism

Oh I do....and have....not that you care.  But calling out the ACTUAL fomentation of hate is not off the table.....just because people such as yourself might be inclined to abuse it....such logic as you are applying should have evolved when you were a child....but apparently your liberal inclination also absorbed the infantilization as well.🧐

Maybe the AP should read their own rules:

An AP staffer who reports and writes a story must use original content, language and phrasing. We do not plagiarize, meaning that we do not take the work of others and pass it off as our own.

I haven’t read the posts here, nor the articles, I just saw a headline and read some comments elsewhere. From my teeny tiny understanding, she’s been at Harvard for over 20 years. Why hasn’t this issue of plagiarism come up before? Lastly, she wasn’t there to give her own personal opinion but rather Harvard’s stance and apparently she had multiple lawyers telling or advising her what to say and what not to say.

I’m glad she resigned. 👍🏽👏🏽👋🏽

First, don’t tell me what I can and can’t do, fucko.

Second, it seems you’re an idiot making assumptions here. I never bought into the cancel culture. Ever. Thought it was a bad idea and said so at the time. So again, fock off.

Third, I’m also merely pointing out the hypocrisy, which still stands even if you can’t wrap your tiny little brain around the prior point.

In conclusion: 🖕

First, somebody should tell you what to do because you’ve continually been one of the biggest dip shiits on this forum for literally years. I’d ask for others to back that up but I’m pretty confident I don’t need it.

secondly, I don’t care if you didn’t subscribe to it your leftist, ilk default response to anything they can’t deal with mentally is to cancel it. Sorry you’re lumped into the group of morons that do this. You picked a side and that’s the one you’re on.

You pointing out hypocrisy is almost the height of hypocrisy. Get bent.

It really doesn't matter, but probably because of the role she just took on.  As you move up the ladder the microscope on your past becomes larger.  No one cares what the peon in the mailroom does when he's not at work.  They do care what the CEO does, which is why the CEO of McDonalds had to resign when he had an inappropriate CONSENSUAL relationship with a colleague:
