I believe he has been very bad for our criminal justice system and therefore society at large.  Still, he has given in line with his convictions and without expectations of personal enrichment therefrom.  That is, in my estimation, a rare thing and worthy of note if not praise.

On my website, if I had a website, I'd also be the hero of my own story. Educator, war veteran, Fake astronaut, fake lion tamer. I'd have wonderful stories of saving the world too. You know, I never get enough credit for this, but the real reason the Soviet Union collapsed is that I joined the US Army in 1989 and they realized that they just couldn't keep up at that point.

Anyone reading my website, would put me right up there with other 20th century heroes liberating east Europe: Ronald Reagan, Margret Thatcher, Pope John Paul II, Lech Walesa,  and George Soros.
