Lamar to flop today

But what if Jackson wins today? What's the take?

The take will be that the NFL needs more black coaches and that will cause the success rate of black QBs to succeed like Lamar.

If the Lions can get to the Super Bowl, I don't want anything to do with this Baltimore team. I've not forgotten how they curbstomped the Lions badly earlier in the season and it was ugly. (They did the same to SF,  but I couldn't give a rip about SF's problems.)

The Ravens are the best team in the league and they look like a team of destiny. When your team is the deepest underdog left, you look for the path of least resistance. The Chiefs, like the Ravens and 49ers would be favored over the Lions but they're more beatable.

Maybe avoiding the rush and tossing a long TD is a "running QB" thing. He probably should have taken the sack.:dunno:

I don't think Lamar will "flop" today but I do think he gets outplayed by Mahomes.

6 minutes left until halftime but it looks like your prediction is so far coming true.  48 yards passing, 23 rushing.  And he's the leading rusher on the Raven's.

We gotta' expose these running QBs for what they are - failed QBs.

Some big plays but not getting it done so far. KC has effectively neutralized everyone else

5 carries for 19 yards for all Ravens other than Lamar isn’t helping.

Well, up to this point only Jackson has a chance to fixing this debacle by the coaching and oline of the Ravens.

Super Bowl winning QBs typically have a wonderlic score higher than 13.

Lamar wasn’t great but he wasn’t terrible either. This loss isn’t on him, but idiots who know very little about football will blame him.

Baltimore lost because they were out coached, because KC played great defense, because Travis Kelce was spectacular in the first half, and because some of the Ravens played really stupid (especially Flowers).

None of that has anything to do with Lamar Jackson. If you think it does you are not very smart.

He was part of the loss and not solely on him but not one of his better games.

He wasn't good.   I know you will look at his end stats and think he was ok.

Ravens defense played good enough.   Zay screwed them.  If he doesn't do dumb things they score a whopping 17.

Please pontificate on the moron that threw into triple coverage in the endzone for an int when it wasn't necessary.

I agree. Tossing that int into triple coverage in the end zone wasnt his fault

That was his fault, his worst play of the game. But over all he wasn’t terrible.

I don't understand how a RB masquerading as a QB thinks he can get to the super bowl.

Lamar lays a giant egg today and shows out for a fraud.

Got to hand it to you - called it.

He was beyond terrible. All of his stats came garbage time when he was playing from behind.

Hopefully this ends the NFL's obsession with running QBs.  There's a reason they run and call their number all the time.

There are three qb’s I can think of that became better QB’s when they stopped running so much: Elway, S Young and Randall Cunningham.  If Lamar stops running he will be worse.

We need to bring the fullback back too. Fock the spread offense and mobile QBs
