The ranch is alright for a few chips.  Then just has an odd taste that gets old quick.  I dont mind dipping them in french onion dip.

ive never had a sweet tooth. Always preferred the "salty snacks". I think i've had a cool ranch dorito addiction since elementary school .  For me, french onion dip would take away from the experience. If i'm trying to make a nacho cheese dorito better, sure. But i'd rather stick to plain ruffles with my dip.   But if you're not a cool ranch dorito addict like myself, then it's understandable. I can see how they go well with dip
