Feds to charge Ohtani's Interpreter. Entire Forum was Wrong

Recommended Posts

Not news, but jon_mx once again fights forum's lynch mob and is proven correct.  Feds are wrapping up investigation and will charge the interpreter with theft.

The federal investigaters found:  Interpreter placed bets, interpreter transmitted funds, interpreter changed account settings so Ohtani was not informed.

Liberals always need gratification 🌈. Even when it's a news story.

Look at me Daddy, look at me Daddy. Yeah, you did it Buddy 🎉. You you were right, you beat the Lynch Mob. You're the best, you can do it, keep up the great work, you really showed them 🎉

FEEL BETTER NOW A-HOLE? 🌈

@jonmx completely wrong on putting me there. I only posted three things that I found interesting when the story broke. I never said I was for or against Ohtani. The worst thing I ever said was that Ohtani paid off his interpreters debt which at the time was the information we had

i also said something seems fishy.

I don’t trust the feds. Or the Japs. I’m sticking to my side of it.

Oh so NOW you trust the feds!!!  😎

The feds are made up of over 4 million people, most of whom are honest.  The corruption is on the upper levels.  There needs to be massive restructuring to provide transparency and accountability.  Many cells within the federal intelligence agencies do good work which justifies the agency existence.  Other cells are just puppets for the elite establishment.  A cell breaking up an illegal gambling ring is one doing good work.

I’m pretty sure I said BOTH the theft story and the original story of Ohtani helping him were plausible, just that I’d lean towards the original story.

It’s also possible Ohtani is paying him millions more than the gambling debt to take the fall.

I think you got me confused with someone else.  My posts... here, here, and here, are all me saying I think he's innocent.

i went to the M’s opener with a few buddies. I was the only one saying he was innocent there. Now we had drank quite a few beers so I was focking with them a bit but I was pro-Ohtani not being a gambling fiend!

Please adjust your list of non-believers @jonmx!!

Looks that way. :dunno:

Also, I don't think that article is saying Ohtani is exonerated.  It just says that the interpreter is being charged and likely taking a plea deal.

Would you consider him “innocent” if he paid off his friend’s debts?  @jonmx seems to think there’s no way that scenario happened either

Yeah. There’s always the chance the dude is lying for a payout (like Bonds drug pusher who went to jail). I doubt it but there’s a chance.

Of course not. I think that is unlikely though.

WITHOUT QUESTION!!

The Feds just needed a body. They got it. Again, I stand by my point that whatever his involvement, there's NO WAY that Ohtani didn't know.

Hunter is tied to Joe, who is an essential puppet to maintain control of the Executive Branch.

They don't waste resources protecting the Dodgers.  The only thing the Washington Establishment cares about MLB is that they stay woke.

If Ohtani paid Mizuhara’s debts, what evidence would there even be?  Maybe some text messages if we’re lucky, but doubtful

Similar  logic is used for every conspiracy theory I have ever read about in my life. Which is why there is no way to disprove conspiracy theories.

It’s quite amusing to watch @Jon_mx, perhaps the single biggest purveyor of conspiracy theories in this forum (which is really saying something) act with rational common sense for once. But hey I applaud it.

The Russia hoax was disproved. No collusion. They found a way.
