You for one.  This was the most rigged case in the history of this country to take down the #1 candidate for president at the direction of his opponent.  Any country which pulled this crap woukd be universally condemned.

You fockers invent crap like Russian interference, then cover up stories to win elections, and now rigged the justice system.  Go to focking hell.  America no longer exists.

There are actual FBI indictments of Russians accused of meddling in the 2016 elections. These indictments came out while Clownzo was president. Meanwhile, every single one of Clownzo's 2020 election challenges right up to the Clownzo-stacked Supreme Court got batted away, and yet MAGAturds continue to cling to unsubstantiated and false nonsense.

Prove me wrong.

https://www.fbi.gov/wanted/cyber/russian-interference-in-2016-u-s-elections#:~:text=On July 13%2C 2018%2C a,United States (U.S.) elections.

Quote

On July 13, 2018, a federal grand jury sitting in the District of Columbia returned an indictment against 12 Russian military intelligence officers for their alleged roles in interfering with the 2016 United States (U.S.) elections.  The indictment charges 11 defendants, Boris Alekseyevich Antonov, Dmitriy Sergeyevich Badin, Nikolay Yuryevich Kozachek, Aleksey Viktorovich Lukashev, Artem Andreyevich Malyshev, Sergey Aleksandrovich Morgachev, Aleksandr Vladimirovich Osadchuk, Aleksey Aleksandrovich Potemkin, Ivan Sergeyevich Yermakov, Pavel Vyacheslavovich Yershov, and Viktor Borisovich Netyksho, with a computer hacking conspiracy involving gaining unauthorized access into the computers of U.S. persons and entities involved in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, stealing documents from those computers, and staging releases of the stolen documents to interfere with the 2016 U.S. presidential election.  The indictment also charges these defendants with aggravated identity theft, false registration of a domain name, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.  Two defendants, Aleksandr Vladimirovich Osadchuk and Anatoliy Sergeyevich Kovalev, are charged with a separate conspiracy to commit computer crimes, relating to hacking into the computers of U.S. persons and entities responsible for the administration of 2016 U.S. elections, such as state boards of elections, secretaries of state, and U.S. companies that supplied software and other technology related to the administration of U.S. elections.  The United States District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. issued a federal arrest warrant for each of these defendants upon the grand jury’s return of the indictment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-election_lawsuits_related_to_the_2020_U.S._presidential_election

Quote

After the 2020 United States presidential election, the campaign for incumbent President Donald Trump and others filed 62 lawsuits contesting election processes, vote counting, and the vote certification process in 9 states (including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) and the District of Columbia.[1][2]

Nearly all the suits were dismissed or dropped due to lack of evidence or lack of standing,[3] including 30 lawsuits that were dismissed by the judge after a hearing on the merits.[4] Among the judges who dismissed the lawsuits were some appointed by Trump himself.[5] Judges, lawyers, and other observers described the suits as "frivolous"[6] and "without merit".[7][8] In one instance, the Trump campaign and other groups seeking his reelection collectively lost multiple cases in six states on a single day.[9] Only one ruling was initially in Trump's favor: the timing within which first-time Pennsylvania voters must provide proper identification if they wanted to "cure" their ballots. This ruling affected very few votes,[10] and it was later overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.[11]

You must never tire of the taste of my ass.

OMG!!!   TRUMP!!!!

Must be a private hell being hysterical 24/7 over Trump for the last decade.  Imagine it taking up your entire life for a decade as it has with some of these leftist posters.  Sad and pathetic.

I can't even imagine what that is like to be miserable 24/7 over one man.  Clearly most of these guys must be on some kind of heavy-duty medication.

The US has a long history of unfairly treating black criminals.   Even as recently as the 1990's, prosecutors were known to unjustly exclude black jurors in order to obtain death penalty for black defendants.  Trump's case was far more rigged though because not only was the jury pool set to exclude sympathetic jurors, but the judge was illegally selected and the laws were manipulated to ensure a conviction.

It is funny to see the propaganda machine in full force spinning Trump's criticism of this heavuly rigged case as unfounded and dangerous.   Of course the usual bootlicking idiots will parrot those articles.

Speaking of boot licking idiots, how you doin’ Jon?

The jury pool consisted of about 200 New Yorkers. Trumps lawyers could not find one out of two hundred to produce a hung jury.

Bullshit.

As to your first point we will find out in a year or so.

As to your second point- I already addressed this in a previous post: Alvin Bragg certainly campaigned on prosecuting Donald Trump just as Rudy Giuliani campaigned on prosecuting John Gotti years ago. District Attorneys in New York are elected. Perhaps they shouldn’t be but that’s a separate debate. However your argument implies you believe that Bragg wanted to prosecute Trump because Trump is the Republican candidate for President. That’s not the case, IMO. I don’t think Bragg would have promised to prosecute Trump, or done so, unless he believed that Trump was actually a criminal. Furthermore I don’t believe the voters of NYC would have elected Bragg for such a campaign unless they also believed that Trump is a criminal. Lastly I don’t believe Trump would have been convicted by a jury of 12 unless they believed he was a criminal.
You, and many other conservatives, have a cynicism for the whole process which I don’t share.

Interesting... you are using an analogy between Trump and a murderous mob boss.  Do you believe that Bragg thinks that incorrectly filing a bribe to a porn star 8 years ago is on par with the actions of Gotti?

Or, do you think that Trump's crime was more like tax evasion, a way to get the evil mob bosses because they couldn't get them on the really bad stuff?

We keep dancing around this; I doubt you'll ever admit that this trial was a proxy for all of the evil by the OMB.

There is a great quote flowing through the interwebs now, I presume you'll see it often in the days ahead:

"Show me the man and I'll find you the crime."  -- Lavrentiy Beria, head of Stalin's secret police.

How was Merchan illegally selected? He was appointed as Acting Justice in the Supreme Court of New York, New York County, Criminal, in 2009, and he has been in that position since that time, presiding over felony criminal trials.

I don’t think Trump is the equivalent of a mob boss. I used that example only to counter arguments about Bragg’s campaign promises. But I also don’t believe the NY District Attorney’s office is the equivalent of the NKVD (Stalinist Russia). I think these extremist analogies are rather silly.

I believe Trump committed a crime here and he was rightfully convicted. It was a white collar crime and it deserves to be treated as a felony with probably a little jail time. It’s not rape or murder or anything on that level. But it’s a crime nonetheless. I don’t believe he was prosecuted solely for political reasons, and I don’t believe he was prosecuted unjustly, so if those are your conclusions then I disagree with you.

I think Jon is speaking in metaphor. Trump is the Jews, the judge and jury of his peers are Nazis, and consequences for committing election fraud are the Holocaust.

2. I don’t believe Biden should have been prosecuted.
3. I do believe Hunter should have been prosecuted. And he has been, I think his trial begins next week.

Each case is different and depends on the details. How does that make me dirty?

If Trump wasn't running for office.....this never would have gone to trial. It was a clear attempt to hinder his ability to run for office. A very dictatorial act.......something the left fears that Trump would become.....

Both Hillary & Biden.....people you support,  should have been prosecuted....doesn't mean convicted but prosecuted for potential crime. You can't be FOR prosecuting 1 politician & not others....especially when it's based on your political leaning......which it unequivocally is. That's dirty......& no amount soap can wash it off.

Except Hunter will escape the charges that somehow had the SOL expire on.  I  guess no one was paying attention to that case and it slipped by them. Too busy. Jackass.
