Not exactly. 

Isreal showed Iran that they have the defensive capability to thwart a missile barrage. While impressive, it isn't enough to deter Iran from trying it again. They'll just send more missiles next time.

Showing they also have the offensive capability to strategically strike any target they want has a deterrence effect. It was simultaneously a show of strength and restraint on Isreal's part.

They put Iran on notice that throwing temper tantrums is ineffective and should they think about escalating things, their infrastructure can be destroyed at will.

For some reason the public, in many counties, like mocking old people. It’s a sad comment on human nature. 

But the world’s leaders almost unanimously have great respect for Biden and none at all for Trump. Thats the reality.

Yes. They are. That’s why this whole situation is unnerving. I don’t trust Netanyahu and the Iranians are evil. We’re dealing with two bad actors here who threaten the world’s stability. But so far Biden has done a pretty good job trying to manage it, IMO.
