My money is on Harris. The polls are wildly swinging in her favor. If she picks Shapiro, that could bring her Pennsylvania. She already is leading in Arizona, although I like the idea of former astronaut Mark Kelly on the ticket. It appears she has narrowed it down to those two.

And maybe this will happen. But what is going to change? Next week the VP pick, then the convention. That will all help Kamala. Then the debate if there is one. If Trump backs out that will help Harris too. If Trump debates her I think she will perform quite well based on her history. But even if she simply holds her own I can’t see that helping him. 
 

Without Biden in the race Trump has to convince suburban moms and centrist Republicans to vote for him. His base won’t do it. Will inflation and the border be enough to win? I have my doubts.

Inflation is coming down.  The border is an issue for Harris....but everytime some idiot on the Right talks about her cackling or her heritage or her fellatio skills they're making it a personal instead of political.

They are going to throw everything they can against her hoping something will stick.

So far it has been a shameless appeal to racism ("she ain't black") but that is not gaining any traction, and it seems to have backfired. It didn't work with Obama in 2008, not sure why they think playing the race card in 2024 will play out any differently.

True story, in college a went on a date with a German girl from Venezuela.

I may be on an island here but I wish Trump would just focus on policy and not on Kamala black/Indian thing.  While I agree she is a hypocrite with regards to her race a lot of people will not see the earlier videos of her claiming to be Indian and will make judgment against Trump.  If Trump focuses on policy and the fact that Kamala has done nothing about the border and inflation skyrocketed under Biden/Harris it is a slam dunk.  He will expose her in a debate.

100%.  But they race bated him.  I mean that's the whole reason she's pretending to be black.
