Not sure. I haven’t seen them openly opposing her like say Bozo’s former VP. That is very odd. 

We are kind of getting away from the original post which was something like Dems say Trump is unpopular with Republicans or whatever. He's obviously very popular with some and not popular with an unusually large number including those who worked very closely with him.

I thought the line from team MAGA was this is a good thing TBH.

First off it won’t happen. She doesn’t have the votes, even among Democrats, to make this happen. 

But more importantly people like you continue to look at this stuff in a vacuum. The reality is that if Trump gets in his tariffs will be far far worse for the economy than any capital gains tax. And since Trump doesn’t need Congress to make tariffs happen he won’t be impeded. 
 

What you’re effectively saying is “Kamala Harris is going to cost me $500 a year more so screw her; I’m voting for the guy who will cost me $5,000 a year more!”

It applies only to individuals with at least $100 million in wealth who do not pay at least a 25% tax rate on their income (inclusive of unrealized capital gains). Payments can be spread out over subsequent years
