Unisex bathrooms at airport

In order to appease a few mentally disturbed and gender confused individuals SeaTac airport is starting to put in unisex bathrooms vs normal men and women bathrooms. 

Now when  I just need to take a piss I need to wait for one of 6 individual stalls to open up when a traditional men's room with urinals can get men in and out quickly.

As an added bonus if you do take a dump you get to make uncomfortable eye contact with the person that's waiting to use the one you just finished doing your business in.   In a men's room you know it's going to be nasty.

This is different.  The family ones are usually just a single one outside men's and women's restrooms.  This is a restroom where all of them are little cubicles.  I guess if you use the women's restroom then this isn't much different, aside from getting to use a stall after a big dude wrecks the toilet for you.

You don't get it.  The entire bathroom is single rooms.  EVERYONE has to wait even if you're a dude that could easily just use a urinal.  There is no other option.

No I do get it.  Mens room. Ladies room. Family room.  Do you know how many times I have used a family room to change my kid when he was growing up? The trannies can wait, just like any parent that has a kid with a load in their draws.

It is actually what the WACs say to do, but I always thought it’d be crazy to apply it to something like airports.

Not sure if they are replacing all of them, but SEA is doing a lot of construction/renovation so the only option near end of D gates was one of these deals.

They put in a larger unisex bathroom closer to the main concourse that also had a separate men's urinal room.  That setup actually works pretty well.

Golden One Center in Sacramento has gender neutral restrooms. I had to go really bad once and I was not willing to wait in the ladies room line, so I used one. It had a commode as well as a urinal, BFD. One room, locking door, so one person at a time, which I kind of felt was more of a waste of space, but whatever. I think it had a changing table too, so def more of a "family" restroom, but with a new name tag. 

I got a couple of weird looks when I came out, that's for sure. But in my mind, they are use for everyone. I needed to go. If they are ONLY for trans, then call them trans. Gender neutral implies ANYONE can use them. 

In terms of smell, bathrooms smell. Meh.

Assuming you washed your hands, where were the sinks?  Inside the stall or was everyone men women and trannies washing their hands together?
