See here’s the problem: you’re trying to conflate reasonable criticism (at least IMO) with “raising the temperature.” To me raising the temperature means saying stuff like “Trump is Hitler” or “Trump deserves to die.” I don’t believe that and I’ve always criticized those who say it. But I do believe the things I wrote that you responded to. 
 

Conservatives and Trump supporters don’t want us to “lower the temperature”; they want us to NORMALIZE Trump. And personally I’m not willing to do that.
