My Bank Account Has Been Hacked Again

 Third time this year. This time they got much more.. Bank account is frozen while they investigate it. A substantial amount this time. We have a great bank and my lady has been using them for over three decades. Ever happen to yous?

never had a bank account be hacked.   CC info stolen once and a large purchase made at a best buy, they caught it right away.  PayPal account hacked once and whoever hacked it changed my info and turned it into a business account in Texas .

Stop using your bank account / debit card for onlyfans, webcams, and pron.

Seriously, though use a complicated password. And don't use your debit card at any retail website that may not have proper protections in place. 

I got a credit card charged for some expensive stuff by using it at a small website for a vacuum cleaner part.

I got my debit card stolen by using a weak password for the website associated with the cafeteria at work.

 We have a good password. I’m thinking they got it through my debit card. The company we bank with has taken care of it the other time and reinstated it, and i just hope it will again.

In all seriousness the two factor authentication, long ass password, and avoid swiping card anywhere is best I think you can do.

I do use my CC rather than Debit card to avoid having cash at risk.

CC once, down on the city. Used it on a parking meter and it had a reader on it. They bought gift cards in Queens and then Popeyes near a prison upstate. Must have been the Amish.

That happened to me once a few years ago.  I was very lax with my passwords(variations of the same PW everywhere). Since then I've gotten LastPass(free), updated all my PW's at every site, and for all my financial PW I now change them yearly. 

Sorry about the frozen account, can be a pain in the ass.

Posting your passwords here is more secure then last pass. They have been hacked many times.

 We get digital receipts and know this is what happened. I’ll be using cash again instead of debit cards from now on.
