1. One of the biggest knocks on Kamala is her lack of authenticity.  This was a chance for her to refute that.  She chose not to.

2. She looks weak by chickening out.  People don't want a POTUS who backs down from a challenge on the domestic or world stage.  Now, you might argue that Trump chose not to do some more 3 on 1 debates, and that's fair.  But the Trump cake is already cooked; we know how it comes out.  Kamala's cake is still liquid batter.  

3. I grew up a Catholic in the Scranton Diocese, PA.  In 1984, our bishop John O'Connor was chosen as the Archbishop of NY, and became a Cardinal.  It was a huge source of pride for a blue collar community, and always has been.  So, I would posit that dissing the NY Diocese might not sit well with some PA Catholics who were sitting on the fence.

I could be wrong about all this of course.  But in a tight race, every bit matters.  It's certainly not "ludicrous."

This isn't complicated. News networks don't have comedians, if a network features comedians they're not a news network.

And for a long time now Hannity and Carlson (formerly) have been outright campaign and media advisors to Trump, this is nothing new.

Yeah, I have to say I still don't get it, op-ed/opinion/pundit shows still shouldn't feature comedians on news programs. But I also think Fox is for people who really don't like politics or journalism. That's not a cut or an insult, it's like people who watch or read TMZ Sports, I don't think those folks are really sports fans.

I am "catholic" in that I was confirmed into that sect of Christianity as a minor and partook in my first cannibalism--errr- communion sacrament. 

The Catholic church means little or nothing to me and I have not attended a normal mass for decades.

My point was about attending the event & having a super fun comedic evening just the night after going on Fox & warning Fox viewers about him. IMO it would be a bad move.

The issues you’re discussing well that’s a whole other issue, glad to discuss it. But yes I largely agree with Harris on a good deal of it.
