Like I said in my earlier reply to you, I’m more concerned about facts than news articles.

There are 2 main claims made in this article.  The first is that Trump called Guillen a “f’ing Mexican,” which is disputed.  But it’s worth noting that this alleged statement was obviously not made when the family was present so they would have no way of knowing if he actually said it.   Lots of people are nice to people’s faces and talk crap when they’re not around, we don’t know if that’s what happened here.

The second is that he renegged on paying for it, which I have not seen disputed.  So there are 2 questions that I don’t believe we know the answers to:

1) Did the family send a bill to the White House with an expectation that Trump/the WH would pay it?

2) If yes, did Trump/the WH actually pay for it?

Based on the statement attributed to Khawam, the answer to #1 is yes and the answer to #2 is no.  And despite claiming Goldberg “lied in the article,” she did not say what the lie(s) was.  As a lawyer I’m sure she chose her words carefully.
