Whats up with Bernie Sanders?

This is a guy who was very popular in 2016, and he was a decently likeable guy to people like me who were in the middle but voting democrat back then. Since he was screwed over by his party, I have really soured on the guy. He has very socialist policies which I am completely against, and he basically just took it when his party gave him the middle finger. At least Biden gave one right back.

He sounds defeated here. Not because of Trump, but because of his own party. Either he was involved in some things he shouldn't have been and he sees the grim reaper coming, or he just can't handle the ridiculousness that is the left right now.

He went back to his socialist ways after trying to hide them to attract people on the left of the middle. He knows there’s nothing more for him than where he’s at so he’s disinterested.

Bernie was railroaded by Hillary in 2016 and is no fan of the democratic party.  However, he is more anti Trump.  But he ain't gonna sit there and defend that party after what they did to him.

I said this in the other thread: The last true Democratic primary was in 2008, when Obama won. Since then, the Dems have installed their candidate. Bernie should have won the nomination in 2016 and 2020. 

It's pretty disgusting to be honest.

Bernie isn't a democrat, though. He's independent, and a socialist. He caucuses with the Dems because what else is he going to do?

I kind of liked him in 2016, he was sort of like Trump, an anti-establishment pick. I wouldn't want him as POTUS now, though.
