Why not just pick her the first time? He wanted Gaetz in there.

It was brilliant by Trump. Now he gets Gaetz in the Senate, where he really wanted him all along. It was the plan.

He'll probably spend the rest of his life habitating a low-rent, lightely trafficked message board, trying to be the alpha male in an imaginary world of self-relevance.

I was commenting on the exchange where you called Trump's picks a "collection of weirdos", then ESAC posted a pic of appointees by Biden which looks like the cast from Portlandia, and you called him a total dipshit.

We've established back in the Walz/Vance discussion that you fundamentally don't understand what us normies consider "weirdo", so maybe it's just that?  :dunno:

BINGO!

I don’t know anything about Pam Bondi except that she has years of legal experience and was Florida AG. So unlike Gaetz, she has qualifications and doesn’t appear to be a rapist.

Better choice.

Plus she’s easy on the eyes and those women who are always wearing a cross are huge sluts

She will go through no problem. No payments to minors for sex. Just some potential quid pro quo’s. Pretty standard “swamp” stuff:

“In 2013, Bondi also received criticism following a campaign donation from Donald Trump.[29] Prior to the donation, Bondi had received at least 22 fraud complaints regarding Trump University. A spokesperson for Bondi announced that her office was considering joining a lawsuit initiated by Eric Schneiderman, the Attorney General of New York, regarding tax fraud potential charges against Trump.[30][31] Four days later, a political action committee established by Bondi to support her re-election, And Justice for All, received a $25,000 donation from the Donald J. Trump Foundation. Bondi subsequently declined to join the lawsuit against Trump University. Both Bondi and Trump defended the propriety of the donation.[32][33]”

And…

“In 2011, Bondi also pressured two attorneys to resign who were investigating Lender Processing Services, a financial services company now known as Black Knight, following the robosigning scandal, as part of their work for Florida's Economic Crime Division. After the resignations, Bondi received campaign contributions from Lender Processing Services, though she denied any quid pro quo.[24][25]”

This selection creates some problems for Trumps opponents, notably liberals.   They now have to attack a female and do so without crossing the liberal dogma.

I am sure they will come up with some folks, probably women, to make some attempt to take her down.  Should be interesting.

Nah, they have nothing to worry about.  Liberals don't see conservative women as "women", just "conservatives"... or, the enemy.  Once someone is the enemy, there's no such thing as race, religion, or gender... just "the enemy".

This won’t be an issue except for whatabouters. She will pass no problem I will guess.

People scrutinizing her record, career, etc is normal part of this process.

I also like the irony of how after months of declaring the women presidential candidate was an unqualified wh0re who only got ahead by sleeping to the top (ignoring their actual qualifications) will now try to play moral cops on someone who might dare to criticize the qualifications of Bondi.

I love Bondi.  Was hoping she’d be the original pick.  Not a fan of Gaetz at all.  Worked out well in the end. 👍

Why don’t you like Gaetz?

Haven’t you been very outspoken the last year about “Trump just needs to go away” you missed this train bud

Gaetz would have been phnominal. Now that the corporate media and holdover Bushtards have successfully derailed him, they are going to try to derail Tulsi, Hegseth, and RFK Jr. Hopefully Trump draws the line at one.

He would have been great.  But.  He really chaffed some arses with his antics so ultimately he was unlikely to be confirmed. No matter.  Next up!

They're not all on the same page. It would have been better with more senators. The margin for error is too small and Gaetz's antics in the House, including orchestrating the sacking of Kevin McCarthy, has alienated plenty of Senate Republicans.

That plus concern that these allegations may actually not be BS sank him.

Nice try finding someone else to blame. It was all a dog and pony show. Let senate republicans look like they’re “independent.” Make it seem there is some check on this administration when there is, in fact, none. Because otherwise they own it all, which they should. So funny, never seen a group so scared of ownership in their life

Trump nominates a gay man as treasury secretary.  Thought he was anti alphabet?

Nominates woman as AG and picks woman for chief of staff (first ever woman too).  Thought he was sexist and a misogynist!

I'm sure we'll get crickets on this.
