I dunno, the CEO is just a guy doing a job. Granted he got paid a lot of $$$ and worked for a sh1t company (it seems), but I don’t think that means it’s okay to kill him. Kinda shocked so many people seem to think it was okay to murder him, actually

Obamacare would've fixed everything IF we had enacted Universal Healthcare like he wanted, but the Republicans wouldn't allow it so we have this mess. It's better than it was because before there was no healthcare if you had no job to pay for it.

The guy is still yelling stuff as he’s being escorted by police, something about “this is an insult to the intelligence of the American people”

I have no clue what ayahuasca is (I assume some here have personal experience with it), but interesting theory here:

But yeah, this “co-living community” kinda feels a little culty:

Manifesto: https://www.kenklippenstein.com/p/luigis-manifesto

“To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”

That seems like a stretch. Not saying he didn't partake but that link doesn't really prove anything but pure conjecture

I've been pretty vocal about that for years. I want universal healthcare and education but the left is so ate up when it comes to immigration, identity politics and everything else I would never vote for you retards

Here's the thing, prior to Obamacare, you couldn't get healthcare benefits if you entered a job pregnant or had a pre-existing disease. You don't remember this do you? People weren't being covered, and many jobs were giving very crappy coverage. No, the current Obamacare isn't perfect but, now in many states, you will receive Medicaid if you don't have a job. Before, if you didn't have a job AND weren't poor WITH children, you were SOL. It's like you all forget.

You all are angry at healthcare costs, meanwhile, as Republicans you're fighting for the rights of companies to make the most money as possible. This is what happens, these healthcare providers care about profit not people. You Republicans fought for these companies' rights over the rights of yourselves, of your health and over common-sense economics. Every other country has universal healthcare. That's what we need, and you keep acting like it's so darn awful. Meanwhile, you're talking out of the other side of your face when you recognize why someone snapped over the abuses of these companies. Make up your mind!!!

I'm talking people. Who did he hurt or kill? I once had United Healthcare. They were fine. They didn't kill me. Why aren't we all taking personal accountability for our own well being? Instead of shooting people because of envy or whatever it is?

Unh stole about 5k from me.

I had surgery in September of 2019 after an accident. Among other things they held off on billing me for half of the costs until the following January so my out-of-pocket deductible reset.

Instead of killing their CEO, I bought the stock. After I saw how good they were at milking money from folks, I figured I should try and get a piece.

When folks discuss universal healthcare I always wonder what they mean. If they mean innoculations and emergency care for injuries I am probably for it.  If they mean vision, dental, and total coverage for any conditions including chronic and lifelong conditions and radical intervention such as transplants or sex changes I am not for it. I don't think we can bear the costs.  What means this "universal healthcare" of which you speak?  I am cautious of the Pandora's box problem.  No matter what we give someone will always want more.

We spend less time in the hospitals, less time with nurses and doctors and yet we pay twice as much as other countries, and we have the worst outcomes!!! Make it make sense!
Trans???? How many people are trans??? Do you not realize that there is some power that is pushing the narrative that there are trans people everywhere waiting for sex change operations? I don't have not one single trans friend or family member. I don't even have a gay friend or family member! It's completely blown up by the media. It's like your living in some alt world. Look at your friends and family. They need regular healthcare. Meanwhile, you're voting for the rights of corporations just because they are selling you lies that around every corner some trans-person is trying to get a sex change operation. Ridiculous.

Quote
  • The US has a primarily private, market-based healthcare system, while most European countries have universal, tax-funded public healthcare systems.
  • Healthcare spending per capita is substantially higher in the US compared to Europe, yet the US lags behind on metrics like life expectancy and infant mortality.
  • European healthcare systems aim to provide comprehensive coverage to all citizens, while millions remain uninsured in the US despite the Affordable Care Act.
  • Wait times for non-urgent care tend to be longer in European public systems, though the US has longer wait times for emergency room visits.
  • The US healthcare system is dominated by for-profit providers and private insurance companies, leading to higher costs but more cutting-edge treatments.

Now that everyone hates Obamacare, especially the ones that have it, the only thing left of his legacy is getting elected and Trump.

If your reply was to me, which is not clear ,I inote you latched on, conveniently, to only a small part of my concern.  Would we have to pay for heart, lung and liver transplants and the after care?  Would we have to pay for expensive prosthetics or simply peg legs?  What means this "universal healthcare"?

Also, if universal healthcare means extraordinary care for all how do we then prevent the government form wanting control over our unhealthy and unwise life choices?  Cerainly we are going to want to control costs by controling activities.

I have no clue. On that note, are we paying for the elderly who are going into rehab, nursing homes and then hospice? I know elderly people who go to the doctor constantly because they have great health benefits and it's sort of a social thing, a need to have someone care for them and it's so expensive, but free for them because of their former career.
