I don't know if you listened to the press conference this morning.  Aside from Kegsbreath's childish performance, I did find Gen Kaine's presentation very good.  Very transparent and detailed.  I had no idea that the attack on Fordow was planned for 15 years.  I just assumed Trump woke up and decided to bomb because that's the impulsive ignoramus that he is.  Glad to hear that it was much more planned and coordinated than that.

Well, I would not presume he woke up and told them what to do......anymore than I presume Biden did that in Afghanistan.

There are plans in abundance for situations of course, and the precision of this execution suggests not merely a good plan, but outstanding training and prep of our people. Trump may have made the call, but if the outcome is good it will be because our military people are exceptional. 

I remain wary that this was actually needed.

I too remain wary if it was needed and how successful it was.  Iran and its proxies weaknesses has been growing the past few years.  Perhaps this is the death knell that brings Iran to the table of responsible ME countries and a lasting peace can be forged.  I am quite skeptical of that.  Would be a great outcome for the world.

It might be a good thing if the current regime in Iran were to fall, or it might not.  That is the wildcard, we assume perhaps that it could not get any worse, but maybe it could. We cannot know what might arise from the ashes of the current.

That dummy thinks in such a case that the Iranians were to orchestrate an attack for show so they can de-escalate and save face, our military wouldn't be aware and prepared to prevent causalities.
