Israel attacks Iran

I do not support wars.  

Unfortunately the ME is an area inhibited by animals.  They will never coexist.  So its a lost cause really.  The whole area needs a reset for there to ever be any real peace.   

Israel doesnt F around.  And Iran has a long standing way of sending out terrorist proxy groups to create chaos and try to hide behind it a bit.  Iran teaches kids out of the womb to hate anything west. They will place guns in their hands before they are old enough to go to school.  They will let kids watch public hangings as if they are savages from 1000 years ago.   

Perhaps if there wasnt Hamas then Palestinians could live in relative peace next door.  Perhaps if there wasnt Hezbollah, Lebanon could be a legit country.  If there wasnt Houthis perhaps naval travel wouldnt be wrongly intimidated.  

It sounds like I am giving Israel a pass.  No they are crazy too.  But the way ME Islamic countries have operated for years is the root of the issue.  They give zero shlts about their people.  They support terrorism.  They are intolerant of most.  They dont want peace and never have.   You cant fight these factions in a traditional way.  Because they are cowards who will take from their people and use them as shields.   Many of these countries remind me of a whining kid that pokes a kid then runs away.  Tattletales on them if any retaliation.   You know the shlt starters who act all innocent.  Countries like Iran will poke you and poke you.  Then when retaliation comes and a civilian is killed, the tables quickly turn on Israel and they are to blame.  There is no fighting these people without civilian death.  You either sit next door with restraint while these people kidnap/bomb/stab/rape your people every so often....or you dont.  Sucks but there isnt somr magic way of dealing with them that is a ton better.  

I have met several great people who are ME born Islamics.  But until the leaders over there die, they will never get out of the brainwashed cycle that never ends with authoritarian/barbarian rule.  Not the ones living there anyway.  

There is no right answer on how to handle the problems over there and hasnt been for a long time.  

Hopefully Israel hits them hard enough early that it forces Iran to want a ceasefire and agreement.  But again, we know how those cowards operate.  They will just wait a while conjuring up something to start conflict again.  Like snakes in the grass.

Yeah I understood you right the first time. It’s a horrible comparison. Iran can’t match Israel in bombing or drones. But we followed up bombing Iraq with an invasion which toppled Saddam Hussein. Israel can’t do that, nor can they completely destroy the Iranian nuclear program, so I’m not quite sure what they’re going to achieve here. Which is why your comparison was so asinine.

What they are trying to achieve, and have some varying probability of success of achieving any of these, is to weaken Iran and their defenses to the point the U.S. will use the bunker buster bombs to clean up the nuclear sites with little to no resistance left from Iran, weaken the regime enough so someone overthrows the regime from inside, or floats out they have a plan to kill their leader so they are forced to the table and allow a supervised dismantling of the nuclear program.  Failing any of those three they may just kill the Ayotollah with the obvious risks as to what follows for Iran itself.  I just think we are out of time to stop them from having the bomb and this thing is so far down the road now one of the above is going to happen.

We will see about that.  Even if they set it back by 5 or 10 years that will be a significant accomplishment because that's 5 or 10 more years to finish the job.  And I don't think there's much doubt, although I'm sure you'll find some, that they've accomplished that already.  But they've said they won't stop until they've completed that mission and I have no reason to doubt them.  Israel is pretty good at accomplishing it's goals, especially when they think it's essential to their existence.  I know one thing - I'd rather be Israel than Iran in this conflict right about now.

I don't think he will oblige. He has said multiple times that Israel is the reason for a lot of the unnecessary wars. His alternate account is sht posting on X mocking all of the pro MAGA accounts who are turning on him.

All he has done so far is warn people to evacuate Tehran. He may also be using Iran as code for Israel. There's so much going on that we don't know. Until the US is officially involved, I will withhold my judgement.

I don't get why this is so hard for some to understand.  The US has made a lot of progress building relationships with many in the ME (Bahrain, Saudi, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar).  There's still a lot of work to do, but it gets much easier without the constant threat from Iran and their puppet terrorist groups (Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, etc.).

Most of us don't want war. I'd say the only ones who want it are the GOP Republicans.

We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured “stuff.” Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.
