If true that proves my point, which is that ICE is hamstrung in getting citizens to stop impeding their work and putting their lives in danger.  I'm trying to figure out from all the armchair QB Lefties how ICE could handle such situations better, and the only answer so far is call local PD and wait around hoping they eventually show up.

I have a suggestion: Kristi Noem can not announce that ICE is raiding a city ahead of time. Maybe fewer protestors show up and who knows? The element of surprise might help.

You're joking of course.  I mean some of them may just be paid mercenaries but they're paid by libs.

Paid agitants the Trump administration plants among the protestors to stir up trouble so he has a way to justify invoking the Insurrection Act and sending more troops into our cities.

Got it!

Once they've decided to arrest you they can absolutely open the door to your car to remove you if you won't exit voluntarily.  Don't listen to these yahoos.

1.) What was the charge?

2.) What reasonable suspicion did they have about her?

3.) Why do you lie?

ICE does not have the right to forcibly enter your car without probable cause. Case in point- if they felt she was harboring an illegal in her car they have the ability to forcibly enter. They didn't have that though.

The point is- the videos when matched together don't fit the narrative you want them to fit.

They most certainly had probable cause. Don’t listen to this guy.

No, it starts with ICE storming residential neighborhoods.

You're right, it does start with that but they are doing their jobs.  That is not an excuse for her actions.

I’d put the blame on her first, then Trump / Noem for picking Minneapolis for a target in the first place and announcing their presence there, then the actual ICE officer.

Why the bold part?  Minneapolis has major issues.

No cities burned under Biden's watch.

Many cities burned under Trump's watch.

Let that sink in.

I've never considered conservatives to be the type to riot and burn cities down.  The left has gone so far left that I'm starting to sound like a far right goon.  It's terrible and that's why I voted for Trump, as much as I despised it.

How about just follow the regulations that you have? You asked the woman to move- traffic was still going around her (including the ICE vehicle in front). One ICE agent can keep waving people around and the other can continue to try and get her to move her vehicle and or vacate the premises. No one gets hurt in that scenario- not the ICE agent, not her.

Your solution fails on several fronts.  One, it does nothing about her riding her horn, which is announcing to potentially violent illegal aliens that ICE is here, thus putting the safety and mission of ICE at risk.  Two, driving around a parked SUV in the middle of the street is fine until there is an emergency -- say the illegal alien hops in his car and flees, or an ambulance is needed.

This is a fair criticism, although I think it would only slightly delay news of such events reaching the organic Antifa crowd to begin more insta-riots.

If the goal is to inflame the situation announcing it with a tweet was a good strategy. These are the serious people we have in charge now.

It's worth noting that the guy ICE had to shoot last night was shot in the leg.  So I guess Biden was right.

That’s what it’s all about. Targeting neighborhoods where they know they’re not welcome, then jumping in front of their cars and acting threatened. All a pretext for violence against not just immigrants, but anybody who isn’t on board with the Party.

This is what actual delusion looks like.

Again, we asked you to pick these people up, detain them and we would pick them up from the jail. You didn’t want to. So don’t complain now that they have to go into the communities to get people you had no interest in enforcing court orders on. And then further don’t complain when the morons that you’re using for props take one in the head after they hit a cop with their vehicle.

You didn’t wanna help this is the consequence.

I'd only be guessing but I would say the charge would have been impeding, interfering with, or obstructing federal law enforcement.  Their reasonable suspicion was their direct observation of the crime occuring in their presence.  As for me, though your third question was not directed to me, I lie to obtain percieved advantage in life, that advantage could be social or financial.

As a career prosecutor I can say you are likely wrong.  Sure, a friendly jury bent on nullification may have let her off, but she was obstructing.

I am willing to bet that the hit to his leg represents a missed shot to the torso.  Training is for center mass, not extremities.

You can keep stating your opinion as fact, even when it's likely wrong, but that doesn't change the way our system works.  We've seen plenty of others arrested for pulling the same crap with ICE so it's not like they were doing anything different than has been their SOP, at least recently.

Yes.  If you were familiar with my posts on that topic when Biden made those stupid statements you'd know my post you quoted was a sarcastic joke.  I would think it would be obvious just from my posts regarding law enforcement tactics.

Why?  It happens all the time.  People get cocky with authorities and then freak out when they get detained or arrested.  Those charges all get racked up.  Stop defending these stupid people.

It's irrelevant.  The agents had the authority to make the arrest.  It's not their job to prove the case in court, or even bring the formal charges.  That's why he's moving the goalposts.  The topic under discussion was whether they had reason/authority to open her car door and clearly they did.

I'm not defending her. I've said from the start she bears some responsibility in this and handled her end the wrong way.

I'm just saying- correctly- that ICE doesn't have the authority to forcibly enter your car under this particular circumstance. That's not defending, that's just stating a truth. It's also saying that there was a way to handle it differently and get the result of her out of the way and/or out of the car

It's not a truth.  It's 100% incorrect regardless of how many times you repeat it.

In order to not be harassed by protesters and avoiding them demanding to know your identity,  you should rent a non-government looking vehicle. These idiots can’t be taken seriously.
