Party preferences in the U.S. have shifted back to favor Democrats for the first time since 2023, according to a new Gallup poll.

46% of Americans now consider themselves Democrats or lean more to the Democratic Party. It's 43% for Republicans.

Republicans led in the fourth quarter of 2024.

We knew they'd start pumping these out after the WSJ reported Dems approval rating at historic lows.

The democrats lost the man vote. Well, the real man vote.  They still have the feminized cucks and the rest of the homos.

That right wing outlet the pew research center disagrees with you pigeon focker:

I remember Lady Squidtard repeatedly dismissing Gallup as a pollster - here and on the other board - because they leaned right (supposedly).  He's done this for decades.

Now, suddenly, it's the defacto standard poll.

Well, until it disagrees with what he wants and then he'll go back to claiming it's illegitimate.

He is not the pollster, just reporting the Gallup results for NBC.

Polls don’t matter. 90% of Presidential elections come down to who the electorate would rather drink a beer with.

Is this the same poll that said both Hillary and DEI Kamala would beat Donald J Trump?

This will go back and forth. If inflation goes up, and it’s perceived to be because of the tariffs, there’s gonna be a blue wave. If not who knows? Stay tuned.

You said three to six months ago. Now when is it you're predicting the economy to crash?

You realize the difference between this poll and the one from @squistion is only 1-3%, right?

So?   Did you read the title of this thread?????  The poll I cited, which is biased towards Dems anyways, disputes the entire premise of this thread.  Doesn't matter that it's a small margin.  But this link shows EXACTLY what I said in the other thread.  When a link from Pew supports MY STANCE you can be damn sure my stance is right and the one I'm refuting is wrong.

Which is probably within the margin of error.

Just to be clear: nobody loves the Democratic Party. They’re the same bunch of incompetent fock ups they were last year, and that’s only the majority. A growing minority are leftist ideologues with economic ideas that simply won’t work.

They’re going to win big next year by default because Trump has been so terrible. Exactly how terrible the public is only starting to realize.

Not true. I have never dismissed Gallup because they lean right (as I don't think they do).

Poster is either lying or confusing what I've said about Rasmussen with Gallup.

They don't win bigger than they did in 2018.

I think they will. Maybe by a lot.

I don’t think people fully realize how awful things are likely to be a year from now. The combination of the tarrifs, the deportation fears, and the Big Beautiful Bill are going to be terrible for the economy.

Why? You could ask anyone on this site what you think of what's going to happen politically and economically and everyone could tell you what you think.

 It's just weird.

Not surprising. Republicans are now the party of  grift, incompetence, and pedophilia.

Who wants to stand with that?
