I love Jerry, but so far it looks like a bad trade. It was a chance to get a King's ransom, but we don't know the details and other offers.

I fricken hate the Packers, why them, Philly, Redskins, Giants, 49ers?

Overall though, I'm glad the distraction "leader" is gone.

News Flash.  the Packers HATE you back with the fire of 1000 suns.  :)

As a Packers fan myself, I feel like this was a bad trade for our future.  These enormous conctracts for one player are, frankly, absurd.

It'll be good for you for awhile, but it looks like now you won't have money to buy a real stadium

But yeah, these contracts are insane

$47M a year for 1 player.

$55M a year for Love.

That's a lot of cap space out of the $279M.

I think it was the Cowboys GM pushing to have the QBs salary eliminated from the cap for all teams.

He's the worst GM in the league and it isn't close. Until the Cowboys hire an actual GM they'll never sniff another SB.

I grew up a Cowboys fan. I've disowned them because of Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones horrible mismanagement.

You have windows. Right now with Love you are in the middle of one. They need to take full advantage. The fact the lions could not do this pissses me off.  A dominant edge rusher opposite of hutch could push the lions over the edge. Instead of trading for Hendricksson or Parsons they did not make an offer good enough or even an offer possibly.  Thats bulllshit and the pack are doing something in their window we're not.

2nd contract QBs that aren’t truly elite strangle the salary cap

And I think Prescott is making the most AAV at $60M. Is Jones even worth $55M? Even 2 years down the road?

Fair point.  I'm not necessarily unhappy though.

He was high maintenance on a rookie contract. Now he got his money. Enjoy GB.

Also, 1 sack in 4 playoff games.

You draft a player hoping he’s great. Then you have to pay him. Jerry hasn’t figured that out yet? The guys on deaths door and he’s counting on two probable late round firsts to get him that ring. This ain’t the Hershel deal. Not even close.

Patriots wish they could draft a good player, forget about great.

I've already joined. I was at Arrowhead for Mahomes first home game against the 49ers in 2018 when Garoppolo tore his ACL late in the game.

It was awesome watching Mahomes lead the Chiefs drive after drive. KC fans we're really cool and recruited me to join them. Mahomes is my favorite player since Emmitt Smith.

I've been cheering for the Cowboys my whole life and the Chiefs since that game. Before this year's draft, right after that Head Coach decision by Dallas I made up my mind I was done with that team.

The Chiefs are doing this for Mahomes and Jones and it's working for them.   Although, I don't think love and Parsons are Mahomes and Jones.

I hate the Cowboys, but the Packers got bent over and cornholed here.

The Cowboys are now stacked with draft picks and perfectly aligned to draft their future stud QB in the 2027 draft which should be a QB bonanza.

Don't be surprised if they trade one of their 2026 picks to get back into the 2027 draft with 3 first round picks.

Great trade for Dallas.
