My favorite is my Toyota 98 I'm driving now and I like ones the stay out of mechanic's garages more than anything but dang tonight I might need shocks on the passenger wheel side. Reliable matters most to me with cars and always has. The Monte 2005 Supercharger I have now is the coolest sports car I had though.

The image of many with cool sports cars or luxury vehicles sitting out in the drive while you slam the keyboard here all weekend is amusing.

I havent had many vehicles, just 4.  Give me my 01 Ford Taurus.  My first vehicle.  Just for the memories.  Handled well in snow too.

My very first car was a Dodge Colt. Not nearly as nice as your Ford Taurus.

It was a Vette. Started down low with a 350 cube, three and a quarter horse power, 4 speed, 4.10 gears, ten coats of competition orange hand rubbed lacquer, dual plane manifold and full fuckin’ race cams. Wooo!

1995 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer editon. Green with tan lower trim and tan leather interior and a manual sunroof.

My favorite for many reasons. Classic SUV body style before everything started trending toward crossovers... also the thing was a TANK with metal bumpers and great towing capability (yes I towed a fresh water fishing boat). But most importantly it was my Grandfather's car before he passed when I was 16. I still have the license plate hung up... it starts with ACE, which was not a requested vanity plate or anything.

That was my first vehicle. Exact same colors. Even had the Eddie Bauer leather bag that came with it.  It was 14 years old when I got it from my uncle  150K miles.  Drove it it another 100K miles and only put a new battery, brakes and tires into it.  I sold it to a buddy who drove it for a couple of years then he sold it.

was 8 years old when I got it, my dad had it a few years before me. It came with a large duffle and something else, i forget. I still have the duffle and use it to this day for shorter trips. Unfortunately, mileage wise, it didn't make it past about 175k before the trans went. Ended up donating it for the tax write off.

My uncle was a stickler for maintenance.  When I got the Explorer even though it was 14 years old the condition was that of a 3-4 year old vehicle.  Interior perfect. I kept it the same way until I sold it.

I kept the interior and exterior as perfect as possible but admittedly at that age wasn't thinking enough about real/engine maintenance.

also I think it was actually a 93. I'm bad with years

Ive hit 3 deer in my life but only 1 wrecked my car enough.   I tend to try and take care of a vehicle and run it into the ground.  I grew up with my fairly old grampa who stressed that sort of stuff.  Im riding around a 15 silverado right now.  Still runs but the rust is starting to get bad.  Wanted to run it through one more winter and get a new truck next year.  But ive had it for 8.5 years.  Its a shame because it still runs great but you cant do anything with the rust that is spreading.  I was going to put a new bed on it as most all of it is around rear wheel wells.  But didnt.

That is some good fortune! I wrecked my first car less than a week after I got it. I had the second one for about 6 months before it got hit and totaled sitting in front of a buddy's house. My friends enjoyed that endlessly. I had the third one, my beloved Nova hatchback (screw you @supermike80!!), for about 10 months before I got broadsided doing 60 mph. Glad that thing was a tank or I would've been hurtin for certain after that wreck. The fourth lasted longer, almost two years, when I sold it before moving to AZ. I pretty well demolished it before then, it was a POS when I sold it. It took me a while to figure out it was important to take care of my vehicles. Now I prefer to buy new or late model and drive for at least 10 years and overspend on maintenance if necessary to prevent breakdowns. My last count was 17 vehicles I've either owned or my dad owned but I was the primary driver. That doesn't include three company-owned work trucks that have been my daily drivers at various points. I'm not even 50 yet.

Fortunately, unlike @Fnord who clearly drives like a woman, I have only been in one accident when I was rear ended during a snowstorm in Lansing Michigan.   That's been it for me.

Hey man, only one of those accidents was considered my "fault." And I got the charges reduced when I went to court and showed that the guy who hit me was obviously going over the posted limit based length of skid marks, the impact force and weight of both vehicles (shout out to my Physics teacher for a helping hand on that one!) and that neither me or my passenger saw him come over a hill after I made a COMPLETE stop and looked both ways-twice! I had such a good time in that courtroom I considered going into law for a while. Then I realized I didn't want to sell my soul for a career and changed course.

In retrospect, I probably should have sold my soul; it ain't worth much.

My sister in law was driving through a divided intersection.  One of those very wide ones where there is a traffic light on one side, then on the other as well.  She went through the yellow for the first one, then decided to stop at the second one, which was timed to change just slightly so if you do cross the first half, you can make it through the second one.  But, she decided to stop abruptly.   Got rear ended.   Totalled her husbands explorer.  (he loved that car too).  Now, was it his fault for hitting her?  Yes.  Was it a dumb ass woman move to stop between the lights?   Yup.   So I'm gonna say you were probably at least partially responsible for every accident you've been in,  If for nothing else cause youre a liberal and liberals are dumb.

Yeah, that's dumb driving. But nowhere near as dumb as the rest of your post. Since you're not a liberal, what's your excuse?
