GobbleDog 816 Posted November 14, 2018 Shocking the NFL did the right thing and cancelled the game in favor of players safety, rather than going for profits. Â What an embarrassment for Mexico. Surprised sh*t hole countries like that even want the spot-light. It's like Brazil hosting the Olympics, yet they couldn't keep the Olympic swimming pools from turning green or body parts from washing up on the beaches. Never understood that. shorepatrol 1,737 Posted November 14, 2018 Shocking TRUMP did the right thing and in favor of American citizen safety, rather than bending the knee like all before him. Â What an embarrassment for the MSM

MDC 5,891 Posted November 14, 2018 Shocking the NFL did the right thing and cancelled the game in favor of players safety, rather than going for profits. Â If the NFL really cared about player safety or competitive games they wouldnt have a game every Thursday and they wouldnt ask teams to play home games in foreign countries with a 7,000 foot elevation. If this game was between two middle teams and not a potential SB preview I bet theyd go ahead and play it there anyway.

MDC 5,891 Posted November 14, 2018 I doubt it. NFLPA had a say and apparently players were concerned The teams were concerned about the elevation before the season started. I think the NFL is really worried about how bad it would look to have potential #1 seeds riding on a game in a foreign country. The field is either the straw that broke the camels back or a convenient out.
wiffleball 4,640 Posted November 14, 2018 One thing you guys haven't mentioned that the league sure as hell won't mention but is very embarrassed about as would be the broadcaster as they already have been in the past is the horribly inappropriate chance of the Mexican crowds. ABC / ESPN had to bend over backwards to try to mask that shiit last time. Â don't think for a minute that wasn't a serious consideration in all of this as well. wiffleball 4,640 Posted November 15, 2018 Honestly, just had this thought. With the huge deal that is going on with the El Chapo trial, I wonder if there isn't at least a part of this whole deliberation process that is thinking about that. Â Chapo leaves behind a huge, well-trained, well-armed, and well compensated Army.
