I just finished watching season 1 of Occupied on Netflix. A Norwegian show. Excellent!

 

Don't want to give anything away, so here's the IMDB description:

 

 

In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea.

 

 

 

Great cast, very high production quality. Action, political intrigue, mystery .... it's got it all. Highly recommended. The subtitles take a bit of getting used to, but not a stumbling block at all for me. Season 2 being filmed now, I guess.

Been watching "The Ranch" on Netflix the last couple days. The pilot is so bad that when I first started watching it I thought it was supposed to be a parody or something. But I kept watching and it grew on me.

I will try to check it out. Sub titles do not bother me at all. Actually its nice since if i dont catch what someone says i can quickly check the sub titles to see what i missed. I actually enjoy subtitles a lot of times.
