Been sick in bed since Christmas with influenza A. For various reasons I didn't get a flu shot this year and regret it. Same with my wife and one daughter. My son and other daughter both got their flu shots, they're both fine, along with everyone else that got their shots that was here for Christmas. The rest of us are suffering. Get your flu shot. Vaccines work.

Years back my girlfriend would get a flu shot every year she told me, and always got sick from it. The last time she got one she had to take PTO for 4 days it was so bad. I simply suggested for her to bypass the shot the next year and she said maybe she would give that a go. The next year she chose to give it a go. No shot. The previous year was the last time she had the flu since then.. Or the shot flu. Whatever it is. About 11 years now.

I saw the movie today

I’m as anti-woke as anyone on the planet. I saw the movie. Loved it. Didn’t feel like I was being hit over the head by the woke stick at all. It was an anti-bullying message. Not because the witch was played by a black person. She was focking green in the movie. They actually did a good job keeping politics out of it. Discrimination against animals isn’t controversial. It’s intentionally dodging controversy by not discriminating against people.

Right. It’s just a silly movie. It’s not like this cultural nonsense slips into the real world, like guys playing girl sports, tampons in 4th grade boys rooms, DEI replacing meritocracy, or anything like that. Dumbasss.
