Never owned a car with this feature. Have been in cars with this feature and don't see what the big deal is.

Most cars have an on/off button for it, otherwise you can go into the computer and disable it all together.

Howie's U-turn is a great example of dudes back in the 90s completely being shamed into doing a 180 in todays world. We have many here. Of course it could be to HTs point of getting worried when #metoo and woke started to gain steam. It also could have been about not wanting to upset higher up lefties as he wasnt as big as he was to make his own rules. I believe Howard; which is sort of mind blowing, leaned right back in his heyday. But then again I dont think he was THAT political then. A classic case of if you are an entertainer, diving into politics within your material is not going to help. People turn you on to laugh and make light of crap. You go hard left you drive away viewers. You go hard right and you drive away viewers. I would assume he was plenty smart enough to understand this. Maybe he had some later life change of heart about his persona that came about naturally. Back in the day I would have bet money on him going out like he came in for the most part.
