It’s a dumb question to even ask, but since the OP is in here every 2 minutes demanding answers, here’s a few that took no time at all to compile. The Democratic party platform supports middle class growth as an economic policy, foreign policy that supports Democratic allies, and individual freedoms for all Americans. The Republican party platform is “whatever Donald Trump says”. MAGA supports dictators like Putin and Orban. Uses ICE in tactical gear to disappear normal citizens, or near citizens, and demonizes trannys and immigrants, among many other vulnerable groups. So MAGA is an anti-American cult that supports one idiot as a cult leader. Democrats support the other 99% of us, and democracy around the world. Why this needs to be addressed, even superficially, is testament to how dumb MAGA is. Any other questions?

Because you are advocating making the current generation pay for the sins of the past, sins which their direct ancestors may not have committed themselves and which may actually have victimized thier direct ancestors. You would balance past history by unbalancing the present. I prefer that we seek a future where all are valued and have opportunity based upon merit and achievement and that requires a present which does so. Your present looks backwards. Mine looks forward.

Since @listen2me 23 seems like he's asking in good faith, I'll answer: I believe in a social safety net, but not a system of handouts giving people reasons not to work. I want all Americans to have access to food and healthcare, two things that a country as rich as the US should never have citizens going without. I can accept that social programs will always have some level of abuse, waste, and fraud, but not to the point at which you just start pulling the plug on the programs with no plans as to how those being aided by them will be affected. I work hard for my money but understand that not everyone is as fortunate as I am. I DO NOT vote that way because I want children getting sex change operations, or because I'm a pedo, or like war, or can't define a woman. Anyone that believes any of those things is not only a brainwashed dipshit, but WANTS to be a brainwashed dipshit, and probably does not understand what it means to be an American. I want the first and second amendments not to be fuct with. I want EVERYONE to pay their fair share of taxes, nothing more or less. I want our gov't to provide infrastructure, security, and law enforcement but stay the fock out of my personal life, my bedroom, my faith, and my healthcare decisions. I especially do not want a President that acts like, or has the power of, a king. When it comes to personal freedom and bodily autonomy, I'm closer to being a libertarian. I'm a registered independent because both parties make me sick, just in different ways. The GOP is as corrupt as it gets, with the entire party in fealty to a crazy man. The Dems are less evil, but far more inept and ideologically fractured. Despite having some decent ideas, they can never seem to make any progress due mostly to their own failings, IMO. What they pulled with Biden last year was unforgivable.

That was then and this is now. It won't win out in the end if Trump is able to end Democracy in this country as we know it, and that keeps looking more and more likely to me. After the SCOTUS ruling this week, Trump looks like he is planning to end birthright citizenship and once people born here are deported to some foreign country they have never seen and have no connection to, there is no reason to believe he will stop there...and who knows what group will be the next targets.
