California is 1st state to ban school rules requiring parents get notified of childâs pronoun change

How can it be an âabsolutist cultâ if I am relying on medical experts? And I know, you say Iâm relying on American experts who are influenced by woke and that British experts disagree; weâve been through all that. But the fact remains that I am still trusting the scientists here the way I would a car mechanic or an airline pilot. Itâs not some religious guru telling me that trans is not a mental illness. So it isnât a cult. -
California is 1st state to ban school rules requiring parents get notified of childâs pronoun change

Anecdotally, the one trans kid I knew fairly well (friend of my daughter) was a boy who lived in a focked up, abusive home. I thought he was crying out for help, but it wasn't my place to say. I learned that a year or two after I last saw him that he went back to being a boy. I don't know if his family life improved. I have a hard time believing that he is the only one. As to your statement specifically, Tim's link showed the correlation. That's how we got here. -

The abuse comes from parents reacting to the news that the kid might be gay or trans. -

Youâre the second person to write this and itâs just ignorant. The facts completely contradict you. I already provided stats from the National Health Institute. Here are more: https://galop.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Galop-LGBT-Experiences-of-Abuse-from-Family-Members.pdf The fact is that social conservatives have so stigmatized the LGBT and trans that it creates abuse in these situations that wouldnât exist without the sort of intolerance and bigotry prevalent in this forum. -

Yes. Really. You think that a parent is going to up and start being abusive because their kid is trans? That is not how the world works. Abusive people do not just randomly start being abusive. They have a pattern and have always shown signs of being abusive. Likely abused themselves. To think anything else is just dumb and not what patterns of abuse show. -
This isn't really ________ v. Trump. This is Trump Adoration v. Trump Hate against the backdrop of traditional Democratic and Republican values and ideas. Sure, both sides are hyper charged by their Project 2025 and "OmG ThE TrANs!!!!" whining....but this is still about traditional values. I don't think the D's are at the point where they don't think Biden can win. I think they're at the point where they're looking to see if there's an easier path to victory with another candidate. To that, there probably is. I don't think there's a ardent Biden supporter who will NOT vote in this election if Biden is replaced...because it is about Trump. A late move swerve does several things tactically: It will have wasted some of Trump's time and money on Biden; he'll have to redirect his attack platform on the fly a bit; while the Democrats won't. Trump is still Trump while Shapiro or Moore or Kelly are not Biden. It gives them the "too old to hold" card now; unless they nominate Bernie Sanders. It's a bit of an overrrated card...but people still care. It might improve the standing with a particular state or demographic at the voting booths. The Shark move is for Biden to back out himself and allow someone else to take his place.

I don't get it? I've always been a black woman. Oh, I get it now. I can switch to being a trans-man. No, never. Uck.

I don't think saying he was bullied is to try to draw sympathy, but rather maybe trying to find some motive in this (such as in mass shootings). And yes, if he had been trans, there would be another 10 threads on Page 1 of this forum about that.

I didn't think trans people could compete in olympic track and field. I guess it happens but it's rare. I couldn't imagine how disappointed/upset I'd be if my daughter came in "4th" place in the qualifier. https://www.cbssports.com/olympics/news/paris-olympics-2024-transgender-middle-distance-runner-nikki-hiltz-qualifies-with-record-breaking-1500m-time/ -
Iâm only far left if youâre a completely wacko righty. Which you are. If you were a centrist I would be a moderate liberal. My liberal friends donât even like me much. Pretty ambivalent on abortion (yes itâs killing babies) and donât go for the woke stuff at all. Also hate the trans bullsh1t except for those people who are truly trans and not just trying something out because they think it makes them interesting or something. I also donât support race-based affirmative action. Theres probably others too. But to you guys Iâm Mao, because youâre to the right of Atilla the Hun

I always get a kick out of different groups having a problem with certain comics. Its focking jokes for crying out loud. If you dont like the jokes then turn the channel. How many Italians piss and moan over an Italian joke? Ever see a Polish guy get up and punch a guy for telling a Polish joke? What's with some of the other groups? They know its supposed to be for laughs right? Its not gays or trannys or women who have a problem with these comics. Its certain people who want to cry. Because plenty of people from those groups have no issue or even come out to those shows to laugh. But its masked as "trans community feels this" or "women feel this". No its certain people who don't understand it is a comedy routine. Random comic: "lets see here we have a tranny over there, plenty of women, some hispanics in the corner, blacks all over, a guy with no limbs by the aisle, a few drug addicts over there, nerds in the far left, steroided bros in the front.....what shall I talk about? Guess its fart jokes all night" -
they are all pedos, they need to groom more and more with their perversion the gays I know don't do this sh1t, and my trans friend is disgusted by it

Woman Removed From Flight For Misgendering Crew Member

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/mother-with-young-child-ejected-from-plane-after-accidentally-misgendering-trans-airline-employee/ By CAROLINE DOWNEY June 27, 2024 12:12 PM The crew of a United Airlines flight on Wednesday ejected a Texas mom scrambling to get her young child and elderly mother settled on the plane after she accidentally addressed a transgender-identifying employee with male pronouns. Jenna Longoria, a nutrition practitioner and womenâs health coach, asked the gate agent at San Francisco International Airport whether she could pre-board her flight, given that she was traveling with her 16-month-old son. The man at the counter, whom she later learned identifies as transgender, informed her that airline policy prohibited her from bringing her sonâs car seat on board, âwhich I knew to be untrue,â she told National Review. After waiting for a while, Longoria pleaded again with the gate agent to let her party pre-board. The transgender employee rolled his eyes, Longoria said, and handed her a boarding pass. She replied, âthank you, sir,â which upset him. While Longoria was allowed to board with her child, her 73-year-old mother was held back, she said. Struggling to break down her baby stroller and arrange the car seat to get her crying son situated, Longoria asked a different flight attendant for help, noting that the staff member at the front refused to let her mother pre-board with her. âHe asked who and I said, âthe man at the front,'â Longoria recounted. âHe told me they were a woman. I said, âIâm sorry, [Iâm] not well versed in pronouns. He said, âwell sheâs wearing a dress.'â After Longoria again asked the flight attendant for help, he told her to get off the plane, informing her that she was being barred from the flight due to her alleged bigotry, she said. The operations manager told her she may be banned from all future United flights because she made an inflammatory comment about the flight attendantâs gender, she said. âItâs so confusing these days to keep up with everyoneâs pronouns and sometimes you canât tell by outward appearance what they are identifying as,â she said. âI was not trying to harm anyone.â Asked for comment, United denied Longoriaâs expulsion had anything to do with so-called misgendering an employee. âA party of three traveling out of San Francisco today was not allowed to board following a discussion about having too many carry-on items,â a spokesperson told National Review. âThe matter was resolved and the customers took a later United flight to finish their trip.â A video Longoria posted to Instagramappeared to corroborate her claim that the staff kicked her off due to supposedly inappropriate language. In the video, Longoria speaks to a United official, whom she identified as Gabriella, who told her she had to get statements from witnesses to âfact find.â Gabriella said it was the captainâs decision to get her removed. When Longoria pressed for an explanation, Gabriella responded that she was being ejected âfor what came out of your mouth.â âI need you to know that because of this verbal altercation that you had with my staff, you got yourself put off this craft,â she said. âAnd it was confirmed by the captain. They heard it all.â Longoria asked again what specific conduct or words warranted this action. âI donât wanna put words in their mouths because I still need statements, but some transgender comments were made, derogatory comments about being a bigot not being on the aircraft. This is what I heard,â the United employee said. After being escorted off the flight, Longoria implored staff to let her family get their luggage off the plane because they needed medication that was stowed away, but United refused, she said. After waiting in the airport for three hours, Longoria booked new flights with American Airlines for $1,000. Longoria posted her experience on X, after which United contacted her and placed her party on a later flight to Austin. United declined to answer whether it would compensate Longoria for the $1,000 she spent on American Airlines tickets after she was allegedly told she could be blacklisted from future United flights. -

Hereâs the problemâŚWPATH protocols for care deem it unethical for a professional to attempt to dissuade someone from their gender identification. So when they see a trans patient, the path is already set.
