If they are, they are doubly stupid because that wouldn't be supporting my position. Sorry to break it to you, I think it's all largely stupid. I don't make decisions on what I buy, where I go, or what I watch because of political ideology. I don't put political stickers on my car, do these boycotts, wear gear of parties and politicians. All your post proves is my point the other day talking about how you guys largely only see the world in R/L terms. Because I think this is silly it MUST mean I 100% support trans or something?
-
No, I don't think there is question that this is how it works. Don't like something, don't buy it. You can chose whatever parameters you want. The people like me that are laughing at them aren't doing it because I don't think it's justified, or that you don't have a good reason. I just find it interesting and a bit hypocritical for people who feel SO strongly about stopping woke, trans ideology, all that - but they just stop at Bud Light, and don't seem to know about or care about all the other products and companies do the same. If this boycott was so successful and people are so sick of this sh1t, why stop there and not get out the word or do the same about all those others. Others have fully admitted how their boycott of Bud Light was easy.
-
The question of hypocrisy is not just about you individually, it's about the group of people at large. It's just interesting that Bud Light is the one that blows up, but we have many examples in here of other very similar examples that don't get any buzz or boycotts. Surely many people in the 1000s that boycotted also use Apple, Nike, Maybelline. Surely many in those 1000s have the ability to share those ads and videos in the same threads. Overall, it seems like it's kind of important, but not really. Which I believe is accurate for most people and fine, but it surely doesn't match up to the rhetoric around this place about trans and people who support them and their ideology. So which is it - is the Geek Club just largely being trolls and pretending they are that disgusted by the trans movement, or are they so lazy and uninformed that they only can be bothered to stop buying a crap beer?
-
There is validity here, make an example out of someone and others will respond accordingly. But again, just be honest that that's what you're doing. The example here, the bud light v the Maybelline. I think there is something else at play, and it's that the majority of BL boycotters are men, I'm sure you would agree with that. I'm guessing that men don't really care about make up. So it's not the "ALL TRANS IDEOLOGY MUST BE STOPPED" but rather, "I don't want to see a tranny supporting my sh1t". also an interesting observation when it comes to protesting trans ideology, it's always a problem of a dude wanting to be a girl, but guys are seemingly fine with chicks wanting to be dudes, or at least they don't cry about it. Every meme that is posted here is a dude in a wig and how this must be stopped. Just a weird observation. Maybe there is a latent gay angle in all of this that macho dudes are scared of.

Is The Current American Political Culture Dominated By Pro-Trans Extremism?
Blue Horseshoe replied to Blue Horseshoe's topic in The Geek Club
Author Douglas Murray questions if Pride is still relevant .....“I remember when Pride was a parade basically, in certain cities, in countries where equal rights didn’t yet completely exist. Where there were certain issues like civil partnerships that people campaigned about, they they marched about, and that all seemed like it made sense......Then after the battle was won, for almost every single right in Western democracies like Britain, Australia and America, Pride marches became Pride weeks, and then Pride months, and we ought to watch out because it might become Pride year quite soon, it’ll be like Chinese years – but every year will be the Year of Pride.....” ....Murray is gay and a supporter of marriage equality, but has been vocal is his opposition to transgender recognition.....During his appearance on The Rita Panahi Show Murray shared his view that the Pride movement has lost it’s way.....“I think the whole thing has become long ago an unholy alliance between the weird people who remain on the barricades on gay rights issues in the west, and basically a bit weird, because they don’t do anything about gay rights in counties where if you’re gay you have no rights. They decided also, having won the battle on the gay stuff, they decided, it’s sort of a really progressive thing to campaign for double mastectomies for girls who think they might be trans and so on.....These weird people have made an unholy alliance with corporate ‘wokery’. Corporations who just think if they just fly the rainbow flag and talk about how incredibly inclusive they are, we will ignore anything about them. All sorts of banks that have mucked up appallingly in recent years – they just have to fly the old rainbow flag and they’re backed in safe and covered in glory.....All sorts of company’s do this, it’s an alliance between people who don’t have jobs and people who want to cover over the fact that they are doing other things that maybe aren’t so great....” https://www.outinperth.com/author-douglas-murray-questions-if-pride-is-still-relevant/ -

Trannies Are Mental Illness
The Real timschochet replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
https://www.refinery29.com/en-gb/2022/07/11027628/being-trans-not-a-mental-illness You’re the one who is not paying attention. Educate yourself. -
Your take is not without merit. But people are just fed up. From the kneeling to the trans stuff, they’re just sick of it and I guess bud light was the unlucky one that has caught the brunt of it. I don’t think this boycott happens three or four years ago. But it’s the here and now. It has all piled up and this is the result. You can’t view it as a singular event.

You don’t have to accept the trans nonsense. I don’t believe Mulvaney is a woman but it doesn’t bother me. I don’t let it affect me or change what I do. I just don’t care and I don’t know why some of you care as much as you do.
-
So? Why do people have to accept all this trans nonsense, that’s a lie and disrespectful? Mulvaney is not a woman. They said he was, celebrated it. That’s a lie. Unless you think he is a woman?

[** Official President Joe Biden Thread **]
The Real timschochet replied to Rusty Syringes's topic in The Geek Club
A pedophile is a person who sexually molests children. That doesn’t apply to Joe Biden, or to the vast majority of gay people, or to the vast majority of trans people, or any of the other stupid connections your sick and twisted mind tries to make about this. -
I appreciate the links, and I am aware that using ROGD was a bit lazy on my part, as that phrase is somewhat charged in the gender-changing community, sorta like CRT to conservatives. So imagine all of the characteristics of ROGD, but call it something else if you'd like. I strongly recommend the following podcast which was recently released by Bari Weiss on her Honestly podcast. It talks about the changes that continue to happen in Britain regarding trans medical care. I realize that she has become something of an outcast in the LGBT community, despite being lesbian herself, because she dared question the Left's decision to ostracize JK Rowling. But it really presents a level discussion to the topic, presenting both side arguments in many cases. https://www.thefp.com/p/when-ideology-corrupts-medicineand-f59 It's only 70 minutes, so not a huge time commitment. A few key things from the podcast: - "We shouldn't confuse strength of conviction with permanence of conviction." I could not love this quote enough. Children, especially adolescents, feel very strongly about... many things. That doesn't mean they will feel that way forever. It is our job as adults to keep this in mind. - The use of puberty blockers and surgical interventions stems from a small Dutch study with carefully curated subjects and showed, within that group, the medical interventions helped. Despite the curated group and the inability to date to replicate it, it has become the standard of care. - For some reason, objections or concerns regarding the treatments have been perceived as hatred of trans people. For example, if you said the following regarding cancer: "I'm concerned about this life-changing treatment for cancer which can do more harm than good, especially since we don't know if you have cancer yet." It would not be met with "why do you hate cancer patients!" But with trans care, the two are connected.

This dude gets it. At the bottom of this tweet is Tim ballard talking about the trans kids, pedos, and how the woke left is enabling and promoting it. This is all politics. Ballard has lied, stolen, and hoodwinked the right.
-
It's literally undeniable. Everyone on the left has bought into trans ideology, mutilating kids, erasing women. It's a sickness that must be defeated. Everyone agrees with this.

Close, but not exactly what they did. This wasn’t a “pitch” to trans people to buy beer. The made a can with a dude charading as a woman and said “cheers to 365 days of womanhood”. They bent the knee to ideology that isn’t consistent with objective truths. As I’ve said here before, people don’t like being p!ssed on and told that it’s raining. When they embraced the “men can be women” stance, they lost.
-
Actually from what I read the trans has quite a under 21 audience. I understand the idea of getting in on the soon to be drinkers but its weird on the other hand too. But to piggy back Ray, you can disagree with their choice of boycott but who cares? If some local brewery smacked a tranny on all their cans for a year....you can boycott it but what good does that do in the grand scheme? Bud Light is a big national brand. It is more about making an example out of them at this point for boycotters. And an example that other companies will notice. This doesn't seem like rocket science.

There’s compassion for individuals. There’s no compassion for general trans ideology and compelling others to live their delusion. Two different things.

Good deal... How about prostate exams? Are trans men supposed to get those too? WTF.

I don’t know if any of you have seen it, but there’s a video circulating of a trans woman (a man) saying he wants to have a successful uterus transplant so he can be the first trans woman to have an abortion. Now I don’t care which side of the fence you are on that is just plain wrong and disgusting. In my opinion, that is flat out murder. NOT an abortion Another thing I’ve seen recently is trans women trying to take all different kinds of medications to induce lactation so they can “breastfeed” a baby. Never mind the baby not being able to get the nutrition it needs from breast milk. It’s more important the trans woman feels happy than it is getting the baby proper nutrition

If you had any reservation that the trans ideology is driven by mental illness, this is your sign. I guess men with surgically placed wounds in their torsos, are triggered that gynecologists don’t treat their wounds. No one on the planet can justify a man with a surgical wound needing to go to a gynecologist, except for them to fulfill a delusion. You can’t explain this away with the “born in the wrong body” bullshat. There’s literally no medical reason for this. Gynecology is for specific anatomical parts, not to sustain your mental illness.

I’ve been hearing about it at work this week but apparently a healthcare place in the UK is trying to push for people to stop using the term “vagina” and instead using the words “bonus hole” so as not to offend trans people. Crazy to me, but you don’t ever catch me using that when referring to a woman’s clam https://www.outkick.com/trans-activists-are-trying-to-rebrand-the-vagina-as-a-bonus-hole/
