Again, not relevant to my point. But to your separate point, I believe there are people with true gender dysphoria, although it is much rarer than the number of confused people claiming to be trans these days. As such I tend to give individual adults the benefit of the doubt, unless I learn otherwise. I believe that if you take the position that it is all fake, you create a non starter for the negotiation. If instead you acknowledge that a rare number exist but we need to address the social contagion in our youth. I feel that you have a solid position to defend. -

It's a good question 1) Low information voters ( the average American adult is spending very little time on national politics and the majority of them get their daily current events/news from social media, which nearly all leans hard activist left) 2) Legacy voters ( if your closest social group, your general career field and your family all lean voting a certain way, odds are you will go into that direction too. Same for getting a college education, smoking or being a single parent. Certainly there are outliers, but these trends happen for a reason. It also explains why the hard push exists to sexualize children in public schools, 79 percent of all LGBT voters in 2020 voted for Democrats. AT MINIMUM from exit polling. Since LGBT can't have children of their own, they need to indoctrinate yours instead) 3) Single issue voters ( some will vote solely on something like abortion, or gun control, or climate change, etc, etc) 4) People voting AGAINST TRUMP but not directly for Biden ( basically put anyone up against Biden in 2024 not named Trump and the GOP and Republicans win POTUS) ****** And you have to create two separates lanes here. Why it happened in 2020 and why it might or might not happen in 2024 White Evangelical Voters - Will not be happy with Team Blue's stances on abortion and what's going on in public schools Suburban Women Voters - Transgenders in sports plus inflation hitting gasoline and grocery costs, plus lack of law and order in many major areas is going to hit Team Blue hard here Military Vote - Afghanistan was a total disaster. Leaving billions in high tech weapons, paid for with our tax dollars, to hand them over to terrorists, to kill generations of future American soldiers. Law Enforcement Vote - Rioting, looting and burning in 2020, Defund The Police and the general antagonism against LEOs in modern society, mostly coming from the hard left and the Progressives, but still clearly a Team Blue problem. Asian Voters - Typically later generations of college educated Asian Americans will vote Democrat. However, given "equity" and DEI that has gone to exclude Asians from being too successful is going to backfire for Team Blue. Also the violence against Asians, mostly from blacks, that is routinely ignored in Big Blue Cities is a problem Hispanic/Latino Voters - The "pro-trans" extremism will drive away older voters here, but the false tease of student loan forgiveness and widespread 15 dollar minimum wage, plus the shutdowns that locked their kids out of school, and add in Jill Biden calling them "breakfast tacos" won't help. Pro Life Democrats - They are about 15-22 million strong in America, and if they operate as "single issue voters", they might flip for Republicans just to make sure Roe is never codified into federal law. Many might be low information voters on other issues, but the majority of them are high information on the abortion issue. Meaning Team Blue , like with the Woman's Health Protection Act, are showing signs of extremism in their policy BEYOND what most Americans are polled to approve of regarding abortion rights. The two major issues right now hurting Team Blue will be the economy/inflation and the Border Crisis. However the abortion issue will hurt the GOP come 2024. Will parents worry more about the kids they can't feed today over the kids they might or might not have in the future? If it's Trump vs Biden 2.0 in 2024, odds are that Biden will win. As insane and idiotic as that becomes. If Trump manages to win, he will clearly engage in a "revenge tour" and go scorched earth against anyone perceived as an "enemy" Put it this way, REMOVE TRUMP from professional politics, via someone else winning the RNC ticket in the 2024 primaries and Team Blue has nothing left. Most of what they have is hating Trump. Once you take that away, it's much easier to see how badly they've run this entire country into the ground. -
I get what you are saying, and it's where I am most against that side of the aisle - the woke and trans stuff. I think you and others around here downplay the media and key people's involvement. It's not as organic as you frame it here, but it has to be addressed.

Trans activism was the last straw. Leftists demand and demand, and if you fail to give in to their little toddler needs, they lash out. And they did. I might point to the rioting a few summers back as the initial point where good people paused, and said to themselves....what the fock? Then COVID exposed the inapprorpriate things going on in schools. Parents went on alert, dug into it, uncovered more. And when they objected their pleas went without response, or they were labelled as "domestic terrorists". You can fock with alot of people, notably white men take a lot.....but when you fock with kids that changes the paradigm.......do not mess with mama bears in particular.

Of course it's hypocritical, but I think they saw how effective it was. The Trans stuff is a little different. But yes, I think they could dial it back a tad. Not much though imo.

I'm not shocked at all. But can we at least admit that it's hypocritical if you spent years complaining about being called racist, having your jobs attacked, or how wrong it is to threaten/do violence or destroy property to then act in kind a few years later? Again, "fighting back" doesn't mean you have to act 100% the same way. IMO the right largely has it correct on the trans issue, but they also have gone bananas about it so it will turn away a lot of people in the middle that could be allies on this front.

So it's probably safe to say that in your situation, you made an assumption that your wife, who you think has never had a dìck, was a woman. Now, if a person has a dìck and thinks they're a chick. They probably should mention that to their significant other, so I guess your situation isn't really relevant. Although I'm sure if your wife disclosed to you that she was actually a trans man 3 days after your wedding, you'd have been super cool with it. Now, of course, maybe she didn't figure out she was a chick until 3 days after the marriage, but Occam's razor would suggest this person may have wanted the security of legal union before disclosing her true gender identity. -

First off Mao was one of the worst mass murderers in history. To attempt to tie him to American politics of any significant stripe is both ridiculous and offensive. Second liberals don’t want to reinvent anything. Liberals want a capitalist society with a large safety net, and we want everyone treated with human dignity, including gays and trans, and we want America’s long history of racism acknowledged so that we can work to improve it. We’re not communists, or fascists, or anarchists. In general we like things the way they are. -
Not at this level. I don’t recall any “Fock Bill Clinton” flags flying on someone’s house or on a bumper sticker. Nor do I recall celebrating and encouraging legit mental illness in retail spaces. I’m reminded of a few years ago when I had some of my friends over for beers. My kids came to say hello, and while they were there my friend wqs letting some f-bombs go. I told him to cool it with that. His reply? “Well, they’re going to hear it at some point”. And I said yeah, but not today, and not here. Same thing with all this gay and trans shite being pushed. I’m aware my kids will learn all about it at some point. But not today. Let them be kids. It doesn’t last forever.

This whole thing in Virginia is going off the rails. During the push for the trans bathroom policy, there was a Facebook group called the “Loudoun Love Warriors” who sought to doxx and ruin the lively hood of any parents who spoke out at school board meetings. It’s now been found that some of the people in this group were employed by school board members and the Commonwealth Attorney(yes, the same attorney who wanted jail time for the father of the rape victim). And now, as this is all playing out, someone from the attorneys office is taking pictures of a legit local TV journalist who has been uncovering this stuff. The pics have reportedly been shared with the “Love Warriors”. The evil of these people knows no bounds. -
