parrot 789 Posted December 3, 2009 Not sure how that is hypocritical but if it makes you feel better then go ahead. I never said we or the gossip rags shouldn't dare speak of it. Ya'lls thirst is for gossip about marital matters of somebody you've never met. It's sickening and sad.If that makes me look stoopid for not bowing to your level then so be it. H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E! KSB2424 3,148 Posted December 3, 2009 H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E! So you're saying I thirsted for Tom Brady's girfriends pregnancy story and demanded he owe me an apology and supported the actual news media in covering it? I remember (and this was years ago glad I'm in your head) commenting on it in a thread. I hardly would call commenting on it as gossip mongering. But make that leap if it makes you feel better. Speaking about gossip is one thing. Gossip just like opinion shows have their place. It's when people actaully take it so seriously, use it as news, and demand more more more that is sickening and sad. HTH

MedStudent 56 Posted December 3, 2009 I'm making the point that you're a focking hypocrite who was more than happy to jump right in without a lot of regard for the facts when it was Brady's marital matters front and center. HTH. So KSB2424 is outraged because Tiger's infidelities are a private matter and no one should care about them. They should just care about his golf game. Thank you parrot for the Tom Brady tidbit because I just did a quick search on what KSB2424 thought about the Tom Brady situation: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...c=308003&hl I do not respect a man that leaves his pregnant girlfriend behind. For focks sake you are Tom Brady, it's called birth control. Wear a rubber for crying out loud. And you can stop it with that sly ass grin and cocky attitude anytime now. Focktard. So lemme get this straight. If you are famous and rich it is not only okay, but actually cool in your eyes to: 1. Impregnate a woman you don't really care about. (If he did he would be with her now) 2. Break up with said woman while she is preggos 3. Not be there during the course of the pregnacy but try to fly to the hospital for the delivery only to be denied entry to the room by the mother and not have your first born son carry your name. Hey, I'm all for playing the field and focking as many women as possible. But any halfway respectful dude would be careful not to impregnate anyone, and certainly be man enough to step up (not just a check) if they did. What's so ludicrous about thinking that Tom Brady is somewhat of an arsehole for getting a woman pregnant and then leaving her while she is pregnant thus disrupting the relationship so bad as to not have your first born son carry your name? There is this thing. It's called the media. You see, they dig up facts on things like this and report them to the general public (that would be you and I). Sometimes things are erroneously reported, however those are usually retracted if untrue and the person involved (Tom Brady) would deny any lies or half truths reported. So we do know a large portion of the story, just as we know alot of the facts of most every other thing we talk about on this bored. HTH So, when it was Tom Brady and a pregnant ex-girlfriend it was fair game but people commenting on Tiger are idiots cause its his private life. Oh, and the media could be wrong on some facts on the Tom Brady issue but its ok because they are retracted if found to be erroneous. But every minor error in the Tiger case (ie you don't need shoes to drive in FL) show that all the gossipmust be wrong. Kind of funny but I thought Brady broke up with his gf before he even knew she was preggo. But KSB2424 had all the facts or at least didn't mind speculating on the facts in that case. But for some reason Tiger is a different case. Its no one's business in the Tiger case.

parrot 789 Posted December 3, 2009 So you're saying I thirsted for Tom Brady's girfriends pregnancy story and demanded he owe me an apology and supported the actual news media in covering it? No, I didn't say any of those things. I don't really give a fock about any of those things. I'm saying that when there was media scrutiny surrounding Brady you were plenty happy to wallow in the same gossip-rag mud you are now criticising others for. That makes you a focking hypocrite. It's not that hard to understand. I remember (and this was years ago glad I'm in your head) commenting on it in a thread. Ah... I see you want to try to make this about me rather than the statements you've made. Can't really blame you there. It's a time honored method of deflection when someone is getting their ass kicked I hardly would call commenting on it as gossip mongering. But make that leap if it makes you feel better. You called him a "deadbeat" and a "scumbag", without knowing any of the real "facts" surrounding the split or just how big a role he would play in his kid's life or how much support he would provide. Again, exactly the same kind of thing you're bashing others for in this thread. Did someone say H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E?

People don't like Daly because he's a scumbag. They like him because he's got personality. They like him because he hits the ball a mile. The like him because he's a redneck. No one. Yeah, everyone seems to have this sick fascination with the story. But no one is demanding anything from Tiger. But the talking heads on TV are.....quit confusing what you see on TV as reality....'cause ain't nothing real on TV. And the news is a product. It's a far different animal than when Cronkite and Murrow were scratching out stories. It's a product where the media corporations want you to watch/read them....so they can make money from advertisers. That's the reason why CBS News is covering it.....and everyone else is....because people will watch...and when they do, money is made. And the simple fact is none of those news companies can afford..literally...not to cover the story for fear potential viewers/readers will go somewhere else to get the scoop. It's just the way it is. By the way, quit propping yourself up as some noble, intellectual everyman. You're not.

However I do think I will wait until a report or statement comes out from a reliable news source and not gossip rags like the National Enquirer or TMZ. This is good stuff. First, we can't believe anything that TMZ or NE says, so we have to wait for more reliable news sources.
