gocolts 300 Posted March 30, 2010 Focking sweet dude!!! I finally figured this sh!t out, using the second link. I never could figure out the one you gave me for 24. Do you have a link like the second one in this post I am quoting for 24 by any chance??? Thanks a lot man. Never mind Voltaire, I finally figured it out. I have been all over the place on these sites trying to find the right episodes for these show. Can not find episode 3 of Dexter yet. Was finally able to find the 1st episode of 24 though. Thanks again man. ETA:~1000
CantTouchThis 23 Posted March 30, 2010 While i was re-watching Ab Aeterno, i realized i was just as captivated as when i watched it the first time, that is always a sign of a great episode. The island is the CORK, i actually thought Jacob was the cork when i first watched it. I guess the island is the gateway to hell, and jacob and all the unique properties of the island keep "hell" well contained. This is why we see a lot of dead people show up. This does not explain Walt, Walt i am guessing won't get explained, he was just a unique and special person. MIB is just evil in his purest form...even though he says he was a human at one point. Seriously, all MIB does is lie and manipulate. He is gathering his minions right now. MIB could be the devil, but i think he is another entity entirely. Despite the fact i hate religion, i find this extremly interesting. This week will very likely be a filler, i think we will find out whose team Widmore is on for sure though. Plus which of the Kwon's is the real candidate. I agree with Lacky when he says Sun has become a pukable character, it looks like this week will focus on her. tikigods 76 Posted March 31, 2010 The whole black/white story intrigues me. All forms of the DHARMA Initiative logo are black and white...and in one of the Lost-missing pieces (I think season 3) Locke and Jack are playing chess. Locke uses the black pieces while Jack uses the white.
jvirne 0 Posted March 31, 2010 I'm thinking it's Desmond...although that might be too obvious. Great call. I just picked up on something else tonight. Here's my half-ass theory - The pylons....think they generate an electromagnetic signal? If so and that keeps Smokey out, then I'd bet my balls that the pockets of electromagnetic energy around the island are acting as chains to Locke. They keep him on the island. jvirne 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Couple other quick thoughts - The parallel gestures by Locke and Jack. Both extend their hands and offer Sun the same thing, but Sun trusts Jack. Jack is the new Jacob (obvious!). Locke is the "new" smoke monster. I will be shocked if the series doesn't end with those two meeting on the beach, saying, "morn'n" to each other, as a ship or a plane arrives at the island. Great seeing Mikail back. Sucks he got whacked in such a quick way. In the regular timeline that guy was awesome at staying alive. We also finally saw what the whole mysterious watch was about from the first season. Funny how crashing on the island saved Jin's life; he was on his way to be killed.

BunnysBastatrds 2,447 Posted March 31, 2010 1- What is Demonds importance to the island. (Mised seasons 3 and four) 2- Why is Sayid important? He is resurected from the Temple by the followeres of Jacob, even though he dies, and yet is a compadre of MIB? 3- If I use a brown crayon and it comes out oranje, does it explain why chocolate taste better than slushies? Funny how crashing on the island saved Jin's life; he was on his way to be killed. Stupid me. So Jin/Sun was a sideways story ? I thought it was a flashback because they werent married. Arent they married on the island ? I guess it had to be a sideways story as it also involved Sayid in his sideways story.

Parralel this <grabing my sack> 1. Desmond lived in The Swan for 3 years pushing the button that contained an electromagnetic pocket. After some cajoling by Locke (the real one), the button goes unpushed, causing total chaos. At the last minute Desmond saved everyone by activating a fail-safe device. This device caused an explosion that destroyed the Swan and gave Desmond time traveling powers, sending his mind to different moments in his own past. In each one, Eloise Hawking appears, eventually telling Desmond about how his fate is linked to the island. He is still unstuck from time, but as long as he's near Penny, he's anchored and can handle it. 2. Sayid was resurrected at the Temple after Jacob died. The pool that heals people had been tainted after Jacob's death, and the temple people said that Sayid had been contaminated by evil (meaning MIB). The temple people sent Sayid on a suicide mission to kill MIB. When he realized that they sent him to be killed, he switched sides and killed the temple's guardian to let MIB inside. He's become more and more unresponsive as time as gone on, something he admitted to last night when he said he doesn't feel anything anymore. This pretty much confirms what the temple people said: Sayid is now an agent of MIB, much like Claire. 3. Lay off the low grade crack son. It isn't doing you any good. Lackman 0 Posted March 31, 2010 There is suck, and then there is SUCK. Well, we have a strong contender to What Kate Does for worst episode of the season. Don't mind me complaining, as we have 6 episodes left, and show is just twiddling it's thumbs. Why should anybody feel any sense of urgency?

CantTouchThis 23 Posted March 31, 2010 We also finally saw what the whole mysterious watch was about from the first season. Funny how crashing on the island saved Jin's life; he was on his way to be killed. I don't think so, everything is different in the flash sideways. Paik was killing Jin because he was focking his daughter behind his back, in the normal timeline they are married so i don't think he would put a hit on his daughter's husband. I mean, everyone expected last night's eps to be a filler, and it was, and wasn't nearly as bad as i expected. Lacky...SUN GOT SHOT!!!! Sun got shot, and you say it was one of the worst episodes of the season?!?!? Interesting things happened in the flash sideways...i actually thought other than Sayiid's flash-sideways, this was the best flash-sideways-which really isn't saying much. We officially did see the package was Desmond, which was highly expected. It's actually nice seeing some things that were expected be true. I bet my roommate $20 it would be Desmond, he didn't take it unfortunately. I said 90% it's Desmond, 9.5% it's Walt, .5% other, he said Mr.Paik, and i thought maybe but that would be lame. I like Jack now, not since early season 2 have i liked Jack, his character change is stunning. We did find out Widmore is one of the "good guys" at least we THINK, which is actually pretty surprising. BTW, the pylons are a sonic wave generator basically. The Dharma people used them to keep out the others, and the others used them to keep out smoky. However, i do think the unusual electromagnetic properties of the island among the other unique properties are there to keep smokie or to keep hell from unleashing. The physics and mythology of the island are intertwined somehow and i think we will find out towards the end of the season. Also, we know that MIB can't just turn into smoke and fly off the island. He can fly/boat out, and Jacob was the only reason he couldn't do this for some reason.
CantTouchThis 23 Posted March 31, 2010 Several posts and no mention of Sun's rack?Whats wrong with you people? Yeah, i definitely did. My roommate suggested she either was wearing a push-up bra or got a boob job since we have seen that her rack is semi-mediocre before, though i always thought it was quite nice. The Moz 69 Posted March 31, 2010 pretty certain I know the ALT reality purpose and reasoning now. The Alt timeline was created by MIB. When Widemore told Jin they would cease to exist he didn't mean die - he meant their reality.

Don't mind me complaining, as we have 6 episodes left, and show is just twiddling it's thumbs. Why should anybody feel any sense of urgency? MIB confirmed that Kate means nothing to the island. She is merely secks bait for him to get off the island. It is the only card MIB has to play in order to get Jack to go with him on the plane for him to leave. Jack will come close, because of Kate, but will come to his senses and realize he is the new Jacob. Show ends with Jack and Locke on the beach.
Lackman 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Show ends with Jack and Locke on the beach. This is the worst possible ending to the show. Worst case scenario. What would the point of Jacob saying "it only ends once, everything else is progress" and how exactly does Locke vs Jack prove MIB wrong about anything? If this happens, I will eat my face. Rewatching last night's episode right now... I think we need to know who Locke/MIB - Jack/Jacob really are. I just do think they end with with MIB getting killed....too easy....also I don't think he can be killed. one other thing...the actor who plays Martin Keamy has a cool accent. The whole thing is setting up as conflict between good versus evil. We know good is going to win. We just don't know how it is going to play out. Obviously, you can't really kill off evil, so we have to go back to maintaining the balance of having the evil and good at odds with one another running amok all over the island. Also, Sawyer is great... "Why don't you just turn into smoke and fly on over there" "If I could do that, do you think I'd still be on this island" "Yeah, cause that would be crazy"
