I tried coke for the first time

Recommended Posts

What about this thread makes you happy you never tried it? Even someone like jerry, who admitted he went too far turned out successful. It seems like everyone dabbled in it and that was it. I could understand your sentiment if everyone was sharing stories how they went to the local glory hole and worked a shift or two to buy coke, but nobody has a story like that.

To be fair, we have not heard from edjr's girlfriend yet

And i don't like it when people have your mentality. Its illegal vs legal. Would weed be bad if it was legal? Why is it ok to drink when alcohol has caused wayyyy more deaths and injuries? I put people who smoke weed and drink in the same boat. There are legal things that are way worse than weed.

First off, I never said that I never did it because it is illegal. In fact, I don't think I said WHY I have never done any kind of illegal drug.

I don't care what the stories are like, yay for you to go on to being successful after doing cocaine? Yay for cocaine! Yay for speed! And as if any one here would admit to going to the local glory hole to get some cocaine. Though, I have read a few threads about geeks being in recovery, and I have also had some personal experiences with fmaily and friends who've been through a drug related recovery or addiction.

I don't care if weed is legalized, I don't smoke it. I can see the benefits of it being legal, and honestly, I have never really thought about the ill-effects of it being legal either.

At any rate, way to read so much into my one sentenced post about being glad that I have never done an illegal drug. :overhead: You seem to have been able to determine a lot about be by that one little post.

I have a real heartwarming story for why I never had any interest in recreational drug use.

This is a true story.

Understand as a teenage Detroit Pistons fan in the 1980s, I completely despised the Boston Celtics. For months I dreaded knowing that Boston had the #2 overall pick in the '86 draft. So when they used it to land Len Bias, it was looking like a complete disaster. Sh*t! Fock! I hadn't even allowed it to sink in that Len Bias would be wearing Celtic green when within 24 hours, I find out that he celebrated joining the defending champs by dropping dead of cocaine overdose. Holy Fock dude! Problem solved! I was so happy. It was the only time in my life I went from the pit of despair to total jubilation within 24 hours. I laughed, cheered, celebrated, and had an extra bounce in my step for a month. Len Bias is dead! Fock Yeah! Fock Yeah!

This was going to make it a lot easier to finally close the deal on those whiny lucky Celtic focks. Meanwhile, I wasn't aware of the significance yet, but in the same draft class that produced Crackhead Len for Boston, the Pistons landed both John Salley and Dennis Rodman. It was an awesome turn of events. The Celtics never won sh*t after Bias died. By 89/90, the Pistons would go on to back-to-back NBA championships. Even today, 24 years later, it still brightens my day and gives me a big smile thinking about Len Bias and the kindhearted gesture his crack dealer did for NBA fans and for the youth of America.

I'm so intensely grateful for what cocaine did to Len Bias, that I'd be a real hypocrite if I ever tried that sh*t. It also helped that Nancy Reagan told us to "Just Say No." I was into this political sh*t back then too. Since her husband was/is a hero of mine, I didn't want to let Nancy down. And never did.

Go to "Faces of Meth" and that should tell you why drugs are bad for you. Why suffer a lifetime of mental and physical problems for even a few minutes of what some of you consider a good high? Get high on life, you'll thank me later.

51 years old.

Played college and some pro hoops (CBA, summer pro, Europe...never made final cut in NBA) in the 70's. The game was rife with coke; it was everywhere. This was the era of the drug scandal in Phoenix and other locker rooms (78-about 84 was Ground Zero).

I had never been one to turn down a good buzz. Smoked pot beginning around 12 yrs old, had done just about everything on the market by age 18. Don't know about today, but folks thought sending me to the pricey private academy (hoops ride...we had NO money) would be a good thing. Thing is, public school kids came to buy from rich private school kids.

Anyway, used coke, or it used me, for about 12 years. How I spent my day, employment options, people I hung out with, who I screwed...every aspect of life...was coke centric. In retrospect, it controlled my life.

Extricated myself from the situation by moving out of state, severing old ties, etc. Still casually engaged in other drugs, but none ever had quite the hold on me that coke did. Stayed away from it for years.

Went to a party one night and it found me again. Almost instantly I was back in, knees deep. Snorting all day long while at work. Actually spent tens of thousands of $$$ remodeling my house, as every time I was almost done, I'd come up with another project that (1) I could work at all night long (2) that the wife would have no interest in and (3) that would give me hiding places and a way to work off the nervous energy. Oh, that plus I found I could drink amazing quantities of alcohol while snorting and not really get drunk.

Put the brakes on again after 2-3 years and haven't touched it since. But if it showed up on y doorstep tonight, it'd be gone by morning.

I loved it. I still love it. I loved the ritual of cutting lines, the rush of it entering my nose even before the buzz hit me.

It's the focking devil. If you're one who can take it or leave it, kudos. But my guess is you can't. You seem to like the herbs way much.

Some of us are wired to want this sh!t. Worst of all, some of us can do it and still function. That's the most dangerous. Makes us feel invincible, like we're in control. We're not.

Never looked back on a drug-addled decision and said "Hey, that was a great idea".

BTW, never went the glory hole route, but did some nasty things with an even nastier broad for coke. Stopped just short of letting it be filmed. Likely the only good move I made in those days.

Good luck, moni. Hope you enjoy life to the fullest. Grab it by the balls, but remember, it's looking to grab you by yours at the same time.

I worked the 4 PM to Midnight shift as a Dealer at a Casino....my nights started at 12:01, the second I got to my truck out came the tray from underneath my seat where I'd dice up 2-3 fatties to get the night rolling :shocking:

On to the bar where I could/would drink like a fish and party like a rock star...everybody knew I had it, and usually had lots of it....many a nights would start winding down as the sun was rising when 2 buddies working the midnight shift would show up at 8:00 AM or so to start their "night"...I couldn't tell you how many times I went to work and dealt cards, often time to the high rollers on 2-3 hrs of terrible sleep...after being wired for so many hrs you just cant get a good nights sleep

Definetly a fun 6-8 years

I owned a pharmacy for a few years. We stocked it as it's an ingredient in a cancer sufferer pain killer called Brampton's Cocktail. Likely none of you have ever seen pure coke. It's not white and powdery. It's really more silvery, very sparkly and tiny flakes. I think it's funny when I see people in movies doing coke that they are chopping it up with a razor blade. Totally unnecessary with real coke.

The stuff most you have had here is more likely a mixture of rat poison and other chit.

Pharmaceutical coke, like pharmaceutical anything, usually have little in common with a stepped-on street version.

Oh really? :shocking:

Okay, so tell us about it then!

I did it maybe 10 times total, but that was almost on 20 years ago. Mrs. kutulu never did it, but over the summer said she would like to try it. We've done it a few times since then...partying with some other people. Last night we did it together, but by ourselves...drinking, watching football (me), other stuff (her). It ended with a coke hazed sex session...which I never got to partake in all those years ago. It was pretty intense. Surprisingly she fell asleep pretty soon after wards...I was up for a little while after...pretty tired today.

look man, to each thier own and I am not accusing you of being a bad parent, I am just truly suprised at the ease of which people discuss doing ddrugs. its just not something I run across much in my circles. not too mention someone that has kids. I realize you can still have a good time after having kids and they will turn out fine, its not like you put coke in thier fruity pebbles.

If you did one line and didnt feel anything, then it was bad blow. If your going to do it, make sure you get the good ######. Because the bad ###### gives you a bad buzz. The good, uncut stuff, which is next to impossible to find unless you know a serious player, will give you the best buzz you've ever had.

It's all the crap that they cut it with, that's really bad for ya.
