The Moz 69 Posted June 2, 2015 Yeah, but you would have to hurry, cause I'd imagine the line for that would get pretty long, pretty quickly. they have totally changed Tyrion role from the books no clue how it plays out now.

Quickolas1 80 Posted June 3, 2015 The sword Brienne has is Jaime's sword, Oathkeeper. Tywin presented Joffrey with his sword as a wedding present. good catch/correction. been quite awhile since I read the books but my memory is apparently failing. of course they could always make more dragon glass, no? if only they had a couple of fire breathers at their disposal... Remember Bran still has a big role to play in all of this. I said it before and I'll say it again... GRRMartin is a fool. No author gives up control of HIS creation/story. One story will feel wrong... and now it'll probably be his (since we'll get the show version first). Can't wait to see watcher reaction to the season finale (aka ending to book 5). Unless they change dramatically.
nobody 2,687 Posted June 3, 2015 The wargs (ie Bran) can inhabit the minds of and control animals. The dragons are currently out of control. Think about it.
CantTouchThis 23 Posted June 3, 2015 I don't know...we know dragonstone does the same thing, great. Cool that Valarian steel does too, but that seems to be an extremely rare commodity. Don't know if that knowledge is a game-changer, if I take your meaning correctly. It absolutely is a big deal. It was always suspected that Valyrian steel was the "dragon-steel" that Sam read about that could kill a WW, but that just confirmed it. Just like it was a big deal when Sam killed one with dragon glass. ANYTHING that can kill the WW is a big deal. Dragon glass is somewhat plentiful, but it's brittle, and I am pretty sure it can only be made into arrows and smaller blades, not swords. So, dragon glass is completely useless when fighting the wights. Obviously Valyrian steel is a completely different story. Plus, it strengthens the whole "We MAY live if we all fight together" thing since the best Valyrian steel swords and blades are owned by the greater houses. CantTouchThis 23 Posted June 3, 2015 You cannot overstate how well that battle was done. From the time you saw the fog/snow coming down the mountains, till the time the credits were rolling, I think every single person watching was on the edge of their seat absolutely enthralled with what they were watching. Dare I say that was better than the battle at Blackwater? I do dare, because I'm saying it....

Dare I say that was better than the battle at Blackwater? I do dare, because I'm saying it.... It definitely was better. And the reason why you are on the edge of your seat is cause you honestly have no clue who the f*** is going to die in this series since they kill off main characters like no other
The Moz 69 Posted June 4, 2015 Or they have gone past the last book? Could The Tyrion parts be what is going to happen in the next book? the, show glossed over Tyrion meeting a,certain new character ... at this point the Tyrion part of the the story is completely different than the books and I like it so far ... I do hope they work in the character they skipped but I'm pretty sure they won't but the story it totally changed as far as the mereen arc but I think they stay a little true to the book as far as Dani. Nah, I'm pretty sure they are cutting out that character and storyline. I read somewhere that we should see the Iron Islands probably in the finale this season. peenie 1,915 Posted June 5, 2015 The Iron Lands? Can you book readers be sensitive to us non-book readers and not say things that are spoilers???? I know you want to talk to each other but try to allow us to be surprised about stuff just like you were surprised. I really enjoy reading all the reader's posts, but try to think about not saying things that will ruin it for us. Now I'm gonna be thinking, "Ooh, I wonder when we're gonna see the Iron Lands?" The way you talked about the character that Tyrion is supposed to meet but didn't, was perfectly done. You didn't describe the character or what the character did or how it affected the show at all. That was a good description.

You can see the cast for each episode, I think Yara and Baylon are both cast for at least the season finale. It means potentially they are not going to skip a major subplot that ends up being critical later on. However, with how the other storylines are progressing, I am not sure how it will play out. But, my point is, we will more than likely see the Iron Islands/Pyke again in these last 2 episodes.

You don't get jokes good.1 You're also wrong though. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Holmes 1 I used the adjective "good" there on purpose instead of the adverb "well" because I'm trying to keep things whimsical by playing the role of the uneducated rube to subtly mock, ever so slightly, the fact that you're being a bit of a blowhard.
