ZeroTolerance 584 Posted December 30, 2012 2007 champ: GettnHuge 2008 champ: thecardsaysmoops 2009 champ: funngun 2010 champ: ChronicHusker 2011 champ: ZeroTolerance 2012 champ: FeelingMN Each entrant must fill out a roster of 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 2 TEs, 2 Ks, & 2 D/STs using one player maximum from each of the 12 playoff teams (you cannot pick 2 players from, for example, the Packers). You will carry that roster for the entire playoffs with the total points accumulated deciding the winner. With that in mind, the strategy is to select players whose team you expect to advance farthest in the playoffs (thus playing more games and having more opportunities to score fantasy points) at the positions which traditionally produce the highest scores (i.e. you probably wouldn't want to select a RB from a team you expect to be eliminated after one game). The scoring system will be as follows: 1 pt per 25 yds passing 1 pt per 10 yds rushing 1 pt per 10 yds recieving 4 pts per passing TD 6 pts per rushing TD 6 pts per recieving TD 2 pts per two-pt conversion (passing/rushing/recieving) -2 pts per INT -2 pts per fumble lost 1 pt per XP 3 pts per FG up to 39 yds 4 pts per FG of 40-49 yds 5 pts per FG of 50+ yds 6 pts per D/ST TD 1 pt per sack 2 pts per INT 2 pts per fumble recovery 2 pts per safety -2 pts per D/ST fumble lost 8 pts for total points allowed 0-6 6 pts for total points allowed 7-13 4 pts for total points allowed 14-20 2 pts for total points allowed 21-27 - Points will be counted after each individual game, no decimal scoring (i.e. if Turner rushes for 87 yds in the division playoffs and 103 yds in the NFC Championship, he will recieve 8 pts and 10 pts, not 19 pts for the combined 190 yds) - Touchdowns scored on special teams or defense will be awarded to that D/ST unit, not to individual players. Each entry must select one of it's players to act as a tiebreaker. If two or more teams are tied, final standings will be determined by the highest scoring tiebreaker player (total points scored by that player for the playoffs) on the tied entries. Submit your roster to this thread in the following format (example of a roster from last season): QB - Brees (NO) QB - Brady (NE) RB - Rice (Bal) RB - Redman (Pit) WR - Nelson (GB) WR - Cruz (NYG) TE - T. Gonzalez (Atl) TE - Pettigrew (Det) K - Akers (SF) K - Nugent (Cin) D/ST - Broncos D/ST - Texans *Make sure to highlight the player you selected as your tiebreaker (use bold, italics, arrows, hell you can use bananas for all I care as long as it is noticeable) If you wish to change your roster after entering it, do not edit your original entry post, simply make a new reply pointing out that you wish to change your entry and what lineup you are submitting in its place. All entries will be recorded at 3 PM EST Saturday, Jan 5th to prevent edits.

Voltaire 5,192 Posted December 31, 2012 We know the seedings, don't know where the networks will slot the games. Sorry, that's what I meant. I'm still active in the FFToday survivor league. If I'm going to remain un-eliminated all season long at yahoo, I still need to plug in survivors through four more weeks of playoffs. But this I participate in every year as well, so I just have to digest too.

tikigods 76 Posted December 31, 2012 The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins still have to determine the NFC East champion. But we already know next week's playoff schedule. In a rematch of last year's Saturday AFC wild card game, NBC will broadcast the Cincinnati Bengals heading to Houston to Face the Texans at 4:30 pm ET. This time around, the Texans are limping into the playoffs. Another rematch will finish air in primetime on Saturday night. Adrian Peterson's Vikings will head to Lambeau field for a rubber match against the Green Bay Packes at 8 pm ET. If it's anything like Sunday's instant classic, we are in for a treat. Sunday's slate will start in Baltimore. Chuck Pagano will bring his Indianapolis Colts to face his former employers at 1 pm ET on CBS. It's been a ridiculous ride for Pagano and rookie Andrew Luck. The Colts showed on Sunday against Houston that they are ready to beat playoff competition. The final game of the weekend will feature the NFC East winner hosting the Seahawks at 4:30 pm ET on FOX. Pretty sweet slate. The NFL also announced the times of the Divisional Round games. On Saturday, January 12th, the Denver Broncos will host the lowest remaining AFC seed at 4:30 pm ET on CBS, while the San Francisco 49ers will start their playoff adventure at 8 pm ET on the same day. The Atlanta Falcons will try to avoid going one and done at 1 pm ET on Sunday, January 13th. The No. 2 seed in the AFC New England Patriots will finish off the weekend at 4:30 pm. on the same day. Voltaire 5,192 Posted December 31, 2012 Assuming Dallas makes it in? They're winning (and I don't want whoever the fock Washington's TE is anyways) Washington has no players I want other than QB and RB which are already taken by teams that won't get bounced in one week.
