Yup. For sure. I contemplated going all the way through and doing four or five straight new wave polls, or just breaking it up every day with different genres, in case people didn't like the particular one we were doing that day. So I decided to mix it up. But being that new wave is probably my all-time favorite music genre, I will definitely be going back to it.

My first thought was this. They had a helluva string of power ballads in the late 80s leading up to "Wind of Change"....which I think is one of the best songs ever, though I'm not sure if I would consider it a power ballad per-say.

 

It's still a good list despite no Scorps.
