mattcoz 3 Posted November 10, 2013 So much for easing him back in, heh. I didn't start him, but he'll be in my lineup going forward.

snatchit 108 Posted November 10, 2013 he would have been a good start with 15 carries
R8RMick 242 Posted November 10, 2013 Giants next two games at home vs. GB and Dallas. They are far from out of it, so Brown will have some heavy lifting ahead.
p.man 7 Posted November 10, 2013 How do you think he will do vs the G.Bay def?
AnaheimRams 28 Posted November 10, 2013 Well... wish I would have started him... but I wasn't starting him over the "found his beast mode, coming on strong, facing the worst D in football" Chris Johnson... Fortunately... Garbge/Late TD's from Stafford, CJ and Gio have already won me my game. Glad i got him though!!!
the spanker 28 Posted November 10, 2013 WOOOO HOOOOO! Didn't start him but so HAPPY HE IS NOW DAH MAN!!!!
R8RMick 242 Posted November 10, 2013 The thing to remember is traditionally the running game is a bulwark in this offense. There are big points to be had from Brown down the stretch, especially since the Giants are playing for something now.
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted November 11, 2013 Sat rice and started brown. Money!
FeelingMN 273 Posted November 11, 2013 How do you think he will do vs the G.Bay def? The Eagles ran all over the Pack. Green Bays offense can't sustain drives very well, and their defense gets worn down. I think he's a top 15 back against GB....maybe top 10. Definitely gonna be in my lineup going forward. Ramrock 17 Posted November 11, 2013 sat a.brown for d.brown today, won't let that happen again/ Although I did get a bonus from d.brown
BobSanders_33 127 Posted November 11, 2013 I sat him in favor of CJ2K, MJD, and Lamar Miller. I thought he might get moderate work but didn't want to risk it. The only question now is if he can handle the workload. If he can then we have a high end RB2 low end RB1. I don't know if I trust him but I'm glad he is on my team. Eddie Kennison 12 Posted November 11, 2013 Props to snatchit for the call. I had him on my bench in both leagues, but still won both due to other options. Will be flexing Brown in one and starting as a RB2 in my other with Stacy on the bye.
FakeFoozballIzFun 6 Posted November 11, 2013 Sweet, looks like high RB2/low RB1 value moving forward.
Dsausage 36 Posted November 11, 2013 Sat Brown and Gio for Tate and Sproles in one league. Awesomeness.
TwentyFourSeven 23 Posted November 11, 2013 My new flex since Rice sucks and Jordy sucks without Rodgers.
WR Guru 31 Posted November 11, 2013 Bye bye mr.rice. todays performance by brown was all I needed to see to feel comfortable sending ray packing.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted November 11, 2013 I want to kick that beady eyed, red faced, little elf who coaches the Giants right in his lady parts. I thought they would ease Brown into it this week and started that tool TRich instead. Never again. Brown becomes a permanent #2 for me now.
fanfootballtn 33 Posted November 11, 2013 I rolled the dice and it paid off. You guys should have known if they brought old ass Jacobs back and gave him like 17 carries, you should have know Brown would have gotten more. The Giants believe it or not is still in the playoff race and they are going to use every able body. Eli is in a rut so why not develop the running game. I'm starting him and Stacy at RB's and Gio in the flex from here on out after the bye.

Charles is a given but who gets the other two spots out of Brown, Moreno & Stacey? Hmmmm. Stacey is on a bye week in week 11, but after that tough decisions every week.

No one will spell Brown nor Stacey but Ball is still hanging around with Moreno. If you are in a PPR league then you are right, you have a tough decision. The Next Generation 10 Posted November 11, 2013 just the boost my lineup needed at the right time to boot! Now I can roll-out JC, Gio and Andre the Giant to go with AJ and Dez...whoot!
HitchSlap 0 Posted November 11, 2013 I wanted to start brown, had him at flex all week. Then I read "we are gonna work him in slowly" for Andre Brown and Arias saying Ellington 20-25 touches. All of this right before kickoff, lost last week cause I didn't start Ellington, so I put him in. I was thinking the whole time its smoke and mirrors(coaches), went back at 12:59 switched and it turned 1:00. And I'm gonna lose because of this again... Yep,I had Brown in all week(flex) and then Friday switched to Deandre Hopkins and then Saturday while looking line-up over remembered what an old bookie had told me many years ago,"think long, think wrong" and luckily went back to Brown. R8RMick 242 Posted November 11, 2013 From Patrick Dougherty of Rotoworld, and I could not disagree more. Fantasy football success is about two very real things. Opportunity and talent. Brown has both right now, and the only cap on his ROS production is his own health history. Sell High: RB Andre Brown — Brown is going to be a fantasy asset for the season’s stretch run. But he’s going to be a mid-range FLEX option, not the RB2 he produced as on Sunday. If Brown was the No. 3 running back you’ve been waiting for, by all means, keep him. But if he’s someone you picked up off the waiver wire as your No. 5 running back, trade him to someone searching for a savior
idiotec 31 Posted November 11, 2013 Didn't start him but damn, glad to see it. My only saving grace is I would have lost starting him. If James can get 100/2 I win :/

That production puts him at #6 among RBs for the week. I guess he's right if you're in a 5-team league. It's Rotoworld, so you have to discount their opinion by about 100%. Personally, I think Brown's gonna be a monster down the stretch unless he gets hurt.

It presumes that you could "sell" Andre Brown for a lion's share. Is anybody really going to give you RB1 prices for a guy who had one big week and always gets hurt? The only reasonable move here is to ride him and hope he stays healthy for your playoff run.

Or if you really believe in him and have the depth in case he gets hurt then you'll probably have to deal a more trusted starter like Le'Veon and have to take the chance yourself like I did last week. It's also probably a good idea to grab whoever they don't cut as his handcuff.
