Andre Brown week 10

Recommended Posts

So much for easing him back in, heh. I didn't start him, but he'll be in my lineup going forward.

Agree with that.

Giants next two games at home vs. GB and Dallas. They are far from out of it, so Brown will have some heavy lifting ahead.

How do you think he will do vs the G.Bay def?

Well... wish I would have started him... but I wasn't starting him over the "found his beast mode, coming on strong, facing the worst D in football" Chris Johnson...

Fortunately... Garbge/Late TD's from Stafford, CJ and Gio have already won me my game.

Glad i got him though!!!

The thing to remember is traditionally the running game is a bulwark in this offense. There are big points to be had from Brown down the stretch, especially since the Giants are playing for something now.

The Eagles ran all over the Pack. Green Bays offense can't sustain drives very well, and their defense gets worn down. I think he's a top 15 back against GB....maybe top 10. Definitely gonna be in my lineup going forward.

I sat him in favor of CJ2K, MJD, and Lamar Miller. I thought he might get moderate work but didn't want to risk it. The only question now is if he can handle the workload. If he can then we have a high end RB2 low end RB1. I don't know if I trust him but I'm glad he is on my team.

Props to snatchit for the call. I had him on my bench in both leagues, but still won both due to other options. Will be flexing Brown in one and starting as a RB2 in my other with Stacy on the bye. :)

I want to kick that beady eyed, red faced, little elf who coaches the Giants right in his lady parts. I thought they would ease Brown into it this week and started that tool TRich instead. Never again. Brown becomes a permanent #2 for me now.

I rolled the dice and it paid off. You guys should have known if they brought old ass Jacobs back and gave him like 17 carries, you should have know Brown would have gotten more. The Giants believe it or not is still in the playoff race and they are going to use every able body. Eli is in a rut so why not develop the running game. I'm starting him and Stacy at RB's and Gio in the flex from here on out after the bye. :first:

I will have a tough decision every week now. Charles is a given but who gets the other two spots out of Brown, Moreno & Stacey? Hmmmm.

Stacey is on a bye week in week 11, but after that tough decisions every week.

Lol, can you still trade? That would make the decision a lot easier.

Whatever you do, don't over think it. Go with the better match up and touches. No one will spell Brown nor Stacey but Ball is still hanging around with Moreno. If you are in a PPR league then you are right, you have a tough decision.

Not a ppr league.

No more trading.

I wanted to start brown, had him at flex all week. Then I read "we are gonna work him in slowly" for Andre Brown and Arias saying Ellington 20-25 touches. All of this right before kickoff, lost last week cause I didn't start Ellington, so I put him in. I was thinking the whole time its smoke and mirrors(coaches), went back at 12:59 switched and it turned 1:00. And I'm gonna lose because of this again...

Don't second-guess your lineup decisions (unless there are injuries of course). Will bite you in the ass more often than not.

Yep,I had Brown in all week(flex) and then Friday switched to Deandre Hopkins and then Saturday while looking line-up over remembered what an old bookie had told me many years ago,"think long, think wrong" and luckily went back to Brown.

From Patrick Dougherty of Rotoworld, and I could not disagree more. Fantasy football success is about two very real things. Opportunity and talent. Brown has both right now, and the only cap on his ROS production is his own health history.

Sell High: RB Andre Brown Brown is going to be a fantasy asset for the season’s stretch run. But he’s going to be a mid-range FLEX option, not the RB2 he produced as on Sunday. If Brown was the No. 3 running back you’ve been waiting for, by all means, keep him. But if he’s someone you picked up off the waiver wire as your No. 5 running back, trade him to someone searching for a savior

Didn't start him but damn, glad to see it.

My only saving grace is I would have lost starting him. If James can get 100/2 I win :/

So 115/TD is RB2 production in Patrick's world? That production puts him at #6 among RBs for the week. I guess he's right if you're in a 5-team league. It's Rotoworld, so you have to discount their opinion by about 100%.

Personally, I think Brown's gonna be a monster down the stretch unless he gets hurt.

Andre Ellington posted 150 yards and a td a couple weeks ago, did that automatically make him an RB 1?

the dude is right, hes an rb2/flex for now

Dude said 115 and a TD (on 30 carries) was RB2 Production... that's insane.

This kind of "advice" is just stupid. It presumes that you could "sell" Andre Brown for a lion's share. Is anybody really going to give you RB1 prices for a guy who had one big week and always gets hurt? The only reasonable move here is to ride him and hope he stays healthy for your playoff run.

Or if you really believe in him and have the depth in case he gets hurt then you'll probably have to deal a more trusted starter like Le'Veon and have to take the chance yourself like I did last week. It's also probably a good idea to grab whoever they don't cut as his handcuff.
