Calling it now - New England - Green Bay ... Superbowl

Recommended Posts

New England and Green Bay have both found Defense again . New England seems to be going back to the same formula that won them 3 superbowls - a Decent ground game , efficient passing game, good against the run and hard hitting secondary. Green Bay with Rodgers and nice WR's usually have a good offense - same this year. But this year Green Bay has a decent defense as well as opposed to the swiss cheese it's had the last few years. Even if Palmer was playing I still do not think Zona is as good as their record. AS Long as New England can avoid having to go to Denver in the playoffs I do not think there is a team that can beat them. IMO this year will be one of the best Super bowls in a long time as far as match ups... If it indeed ends up Green Bay - New England which I think it will.

Not going very far out on that limb

This.

Week 12 with them both looking very much like the #1 seeds respectively in their Conferences.

Calling it now......................I'm going to be drunk Turkey day on either beer or gravy.

Moving on.....................

I think you are a prophet....

Well, it's not like you pulled rabbits out of your hat here, but still, you are showing wisdom and football acumen. Clap clap

To be fair, GB would be a wild card team right now.

That doesn't change the fact that the original post was lame though.

I'd like to see the GB passing attack vs the AZ secondary in the NFC championship game. In AZ where they rarely lose. They had some great battles a few years ago in the Warner Era. This would be different, but still epic.

I don't want to jinx my Cards so I'll go with the mob here and say the Packers win.

AZ vs MIA. how's that for going out on a limb?...

For a bolder prediction, I like this one a lot. Both teams are vastly underrated.

Is it the Bucs who could get in with 5 wins? I heard the discussion. A team gets hot. In that division it's got to be Saints though with home playoff game then over rested bye team.

GB needs to prove they can beat good teams first.

Strength of Victory is 11th in the conference.

Strength of Schedule is 13th in the conference.

Quite simply, they don't play many good teams and when they do they don't beat them.

They just beat philly by 30. Would've beat them by 50 if starters weren't pulled.

It won't be an obvious team (NE or Den).....saying an AFC North team making it will be more of going out on a limb. He's a bold prediction.....

Bengals vs Lions
