We've got maybe a half dozen times where we've had measurable snowfall this year. I've never seen anything like it living in Western NY.

I'm about an hour south of Buffalo and other then the megastorm where they got like 7 feet they haven't got much either.

Suynny and 69. And the only snow on the ground is the crack heads throwing their rocks on the ground running away from the coppers.

Yep. This our third rodeo though so they've learned some things. I hope. I don't live or work near any of the events, except my commute goes towards downtown where they are doing the NFL Experience (and blocked off a lot of roads in the heart of the city) so that might get a little slow. This morning was actually better than normal though. :dunno:

Long, extremely cold winters in the north and northeast in particular create greater demand for natural gas which makes nat gas prices go up.

I'm NJ only about an inch or so. Supposed to start around 10, and we're in 12-14 inch range.

I'm in NYC hotel 3 blocks from work. Probably won't go home until late Wednesday into Thursday.

TG Duane Reade sells beer. Had a couple of bottles at work from XMas to help.

I love Snow.

And make sure the liquor cabinet is fully stocked

Our typical planning:

- with 6" or less, we make sure that we have a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk

- with 7-18", we make sure that we have two loaves of bread and two gallons of milk

- with 18+", we make sure that we have plenty of booze and we don't care about bread and milk

I usually add a fifth of Rum, Baileys, three bottles of red, three of white, and maybe a case of Sam Adams- which stays right outside on the back deck......it does freeze if the temp gets down too low....
