First Time You Didn't Come Home

Recommended Posts

I was 17. Got wasted and slept in her bed. We fawked in her bunk beds. Great night.

Till my parents called every police department and hospital searching for me.

When I walked in the door, my dad punched me right in the Fawking face. It was noon.

I never stayed out all night without telling my parents I was staying with someone else. They were usually cool about it if it wasn't a school night.

I moved out when I was 16. Didn't have bad parents or anything. Just wanted to get wasted and bang my girlfriend whenever I wanted.

Looking back, it was retarded, because I couldn't get a decent job most of my 20's. I had to go to adult school to get my diploma, and didn't finish college until I was 30.

You finished school though. So that's at least good

I was 17. At an all night party that was raided by the cops. We left and then came back after the cops left. A smaller group hung out and got focked up. I picked a girl that had a long-time boyfriend and we eventually started dating after that.

Came home in the morning, clearly hung over and my mother said she was worried sick and I should go up to bed and we would talk about it later. She still gives me sh!t about it.

Was 15, mother was ticked off for a day maybe, but in reality I doubt she cared.

never. i mean i didn't come home plenty of times but i always established it with my mother before hand. at younger ages i just told her i was staying at so and so's regardless of what i wa actually doing and as i got older, it was assumed that if i didn't come home i crashed at a friends place.

then again most of you guys grew up with rotary phones. i could just shoot my mom a text saying id be home tomorrow and it was cool

Meh once I was 13 or so I could do what I wanted. stayed out at friends all time. Only girls need that kind of babying so they dont get banged by their friends brothers.

Closing shift at McDonald's. We just sat in the parking lot bs'ing and didn't realize it was 6am. Mom pulled in the parking lot in her bathrobe. When she realized I wasn't f'ing up, she cooled off. Yes, back in the rotary phone days.

When I was growing up in NY you could get your licence at 16 but I waited till I was 17 cause I new I was getting my Dad's company car for a sweet heart deal. Still you were supposed to be off the road by 9 if you were under 18. First night I had the car I stayed out all night just to set precedent. It worked. Miss that car.

I was a Junior in high school, went to the Senior end of year party and got home around 8 a.m. mom was so cool about it she'd even hung dark sheets over my bedroom windows so I could sleep without light coming in.

If I ever stayed out all night when I was expected to be home, I would still be grounded.

16. Worked in a bbq place as a busser. Had a party after work for the Holyfield/Bowe fight. Think I drank 3 or 4 Buds and passed out.

:D

Woke up in the morning and drove home to my mom making my brothers pancakes. They were both slackjawed waiting for my mom to go off on me. She didn't say shizz. I sat down and had some pancakes and bacon.

:)

I was working in a bar at 14 so all nighters were commonplace whether I was working or not.

Did your kids do this to you?

My younger one following my footsteps- dropping acid at 16. (Few other drug issues come and hopefully gone) but also works in a bar. So yes. He did big time.

When my parents drove me out to the country, opened the door and told me to be free.

Not bad, not bad at all.

Reminds me of an old Rodney Dangerfield joke.

He was an only child and about 7 years old. Parents took him to the beach. Shortly after, he couldn't find them.

Frantically ran up to the lifeguard and asked him if he could help him find them ?

Lifeguard replied "I don't know kid, there's so many places they could hide"
