Mr Neil 63 Posted December 10, 2015 Cincinnati was also without slot CB Leon Hall (back) and FS George Iloka (groin) in Wednesday's practice, while LCB Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) was limited. With Hall inactive for last week's win over the Browns, the Bengals turned to fourth-round rookie Josh Shaw and UDFA rookie Troy Hill for increased roles. As Hall and Jones appear to be in serious danger of missing Sunday's matchup with Pittsburgh, Shaw, Hill, and Kirkpatrick could form Cincinnati's nickel package against Ben Roethlisberger. Giddy up, Big Ben owners. So keep Bog Ben without hesitation and all other steelers. Tha could definitely mean if you have Hill or Gio this is shaping up to be a Gio type of game. tanatastic 2,062 Posted December 10, 2015 I'm hoping bengals roll since I have stake in Dalton and heavy on AJ. Also surprisingly starting my bengals D. One might scoff but in their other game, in Pitt, bengals thrashed them and Ben had 0/3. Granted that was his first game back from injury and they are red hot now. stonewall 647 Posted December 10, 2015 IDK......maybe. It just seems like these Pitt/Cincy games are more often slobberknockers than score-fests.

handbanana 47 Posted December 10, 2015 Starting every Steeler and every Bengal I have in every league...with confidence. I'm starting Dalton in the playoffs of two leagues. Without confidence. No alternatives because they are 2QB leagues. So I'm hoping the Steelers keep the pedal to the metal and force Dalton to keep up. But I just can't shake that first matchup in Pitt that was like 13-12 or some dumb chit. These games are important, they are late in the season, extremely meaningful and both teams are familiar with one another. It's a recipe for conservative low scoring football. Unfortunately... barber2309 26 Posted December 10, 2015 If I had Palmer I would start him ahead of Dalton in a heartbeat... Probably starting Ben over Palmer. Tough choice though, These recent injury updates have leaned me towards Ben. Minnesota's injuries are more to their run stuffing guys which makes me think Johnson could have a big game, not necessarily palmer (who should be solid also). Kent 228 Posted December 10, 2015 The problem is that these two teams know each other and it wouldn't be surprising for a low scoring game. It's all depends on the start. If each team throws a quick couple 3 and outs, I can see the gameplans slowing to a crawl. If the Bengals score early, watch out for a shootout. Hard to trust Dalton though. tanatastic 2,062 Posted December 10, 2015 I don't think this game will be the shoot out a lot of people think it will be . Agree. Plus people are glossing over post #2 where I pointed out the first meeting was a bengals dominated defensive battle in pitt. Doesnt mean same will happen but its the usual for these division games with meaning.
Viking14 5 Posted December 10, 2015 Palmer or Ben not a bad one there. MN just picked up TWO safeties to play in the game yesterday. The only thing that will limit points for AZ is if they feel sorry for the VIKES-I already feel sorry for them. I am playing to get in the playoffs and I am going against Ben, Brown and Fitz.. I will need a lot of luck to even get close - win and in, a loss and the season is over.

General Gannicus 12 Posted December 10, 2015 What about the Steelers kicker anyone think he continues his solid ways this weekend? I have read where he is "sit of the week" for kickers but I'm not so sure about that since if it's a low scoring slugfest (doubt it) he will be called on to kick a bunch, and if it's a high scoring shootout....he will be called on to kick a bunch... Can switch out to someone like Myers on jax or even the used to be good McManus in Denver vs raiders... Every point counts and I want to deploy a double digit kicker so I'm debating whether or not to keep rolling with the Boz or switch out to someone else... jgcrawfish 232 Posted December 10, 2015 Steelers are averaging 35 pts a game with Ben and the Bengals may be without their top 3 CBs for this game. The first game was Ben's first one back after the lengthy injury stint and he was clearly rusty. The Steelers had more offense going than it showed had it not been for the turnovers. His rapport with his WR's is off the charts right now, Regarding the Steelers kicker Boswell, he's sort of a wildcard. Tomlin will regularly go for it on 4th in spots where other teams would go for a FG, and we all know he will go for 2 pt conversion just about anytime over letting a kicker try that 33 yd extra point. Boswell has been very solid in his performance, but he seems to get less opportunities than other kickers.

Yeah I've been fearing that for over a month but he hasn't let me down yet and I'd hate to turn my back on him now but you see what I see and I may have to switch out to Myers... Or even Franks in Miami to have a Monday night guy which always feels more important than it actually is....ha

Kent 228 Posted December 11, 2015 Last 3 games Gio has 32 touches for 0 TDS.... Hill has 52 touches and 3 TDS. Hill has fresh legs and is being used far more often now. DO NOT BENCH HIM Greatly skewed by the Cleveland game. The just ran Hill to eat clock. The Steelers are not Cleveland. I think they are ranked 2 against the run. With a chance Ben gets the Steelers out to a lead, and Hill watches Gio for 4 quarters from the bench...in my first week of the playoffs? No thanks. Good luck. I'm benching him. Hill is matchup dependent thanks to Gio. Gio needs to break his leg.

General Gannicus 12 Posted December 11, 2015 FWIW (and surprisingly to me), this game is the second-highest Vegas line (49) of the week. I guess Cincy's secondary is without guys and the Steelers secondary doesn't have any guys that make oddsmakers pause in thinking both teams will be able to throw the ball in good weather.. Everyone will be healthy on offense (c'mon eifert that means you too) and more than likely slinging it around... Should be a better game than that last mess.... Riddick has a solid floor with his catching ability especially vs the Rams who are awful vs pass catching RBs

jgcrawfish 232 Posted December 11, 2015 Heath Miller practiced yesterday for Steelers, so he will likely be back this weekend. Don't know if anybody noticed it, but the Steelers featured their rookie TE Jesse James on the first couple of series while Heath was out and he looked pretty good. 6'7", good hands and good speed. People aren't realizing all the weapons the Steelers have. This game has a high Vegas line for a reason.

giraldi02 476 Posted December 11, 2015 And many times them Vegas lines are wrong , if not many of us would not be here posting . Vegas lines aren't supposed to be correct. They're supposed to induce betting on both sides equally and that's exactly what they do. Following are the result of every NFL game from the 1983 to 2008 seasons: Over wins: 48.00% Under wins: 49.52% Game ends exactly on total: 2.49%
