Allllllllll this ant-trump stuff is just hypotheticals, since Trump has done nothing to affect, change, or influence foreign policy. Since it's all hypothetical, what if, and only what if, Trump got Paul to be his VP. Trump was able to get Gary johnson as his military and foreign policy advisor? Does that change your mind?

Trump's appeal, with his answers, is his "this isn't that hard" tone and tenor - it's likeable.. but oversimplifies things and puts them in black and white- - and the fact is, it isn't simple, and it's rarely black/white.

Eta: what are your other examples of infinitely better? I'm not asking for a pissing match, just context. For example: I didn't care for the Iran deal. It wasn't horrible, but making appeasement type deals with one of, if not the biggest sponsors of terrorism, wasn't great. Libya is a mess due to the removal of Gaddafi, that created a vacuum. Just a couple of examples.

 

Didn't support the war in Iraq, ended the war in Iraq, did not get baited into putting troops on the ground in Syria or elsewhere, no major terrorist attacks on US soil in his time in office.

 

I wouldn't say he's been great but Obummer was a million times better than his predecessor. The opposition party on the other hand can't even decide whether Iraq was a mistake in the first place or if we should have left or doubled down on that mistake by keeping our troops there.
